
As a Senior Scrum Master at AVIZVA, you will be the proud skipper of
project-level Scrum Ceremonies. You will act as a bridge of dialogue
between the Scrum Team and other important stakeholders. You will not
just spot and voice the potential hiccups in your team’s progress, but you
will build solid safeguards by joining forces both within and beyond the
team
As an ambassador of Scrum principles and values, you will coach your
team to be a devoted Scrum follower. You will master the project scope
curriculum and learn the program goal basics. You will team-up with the
Product Owner and make sure that the product backlog is always up to
the minute. You will be the face of your Scrum team in cross-team
dependency reviews.
Job Responsibilities
• Acquire a holistic overview of all ongoing projects, initiatives within the
program, thoroughly understanding assigned projects' objectives,
scope, and business alignment while identifying significant cross-team
dependencies.
• Act as the custodian of Scrum practices and processes, leading the
Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review,
Sprint Retrospective) effectively and aligning them with team goals.
• Mentor the team on Agile practices, Scrum principles, product vision,
and scope, empowering them to develop a shared sense of ownership
and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive clear and
transparent communication within the team and with external
stakeholders.
• Identify technical and people-centered risks/roadblocks that may hinder
progress, collaborating with stakeholders to define and proactively
mitigate risks, enabling the team to focus on core tasks.
• Assist the Product Owner in refining and maintaining a visible,
transparent product backlog by estimating story points and utilizing
insights from standup meetings.
• Represent the team in weekly Scrum of Scrums meetings, presenting
detailed reports on progress, achievements, and alignment with project
goals.
• Attend PI Planning events, driving clear communication on workflow
alignment and dependencies with multiple stakeholders of the Agile
Release Train.
• Assume a proactive approach in eliminating the risk in question thus,
enabling the team to stay focused on their core tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master
or in Agile project management roles, exhibiting mastery in guiding
teams to successful project outcomes.
• Proficiency in facilitating Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily
Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring effective
collaboration and productivity.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in utilizing Agile project management
tools, particularly Jira, for comprehensive planning, tracking, and
execution of Agile projects. Strong emphasis on hands-on experience in
Jira automation.
• Deep understanding and application of Agile estimation techniques like
Story Pointing and Planning Poker, fostering accurate project planning
and delivery.
• Expertise in utilizing advanced project scheduling tools like Advance
Roadmap and PI Planning Tools such as Team Board Post Scheduler,
enabling strategic project planning and execution.
• Familiarity with SaFe methodology, providing added advantage in
