About the Role:
• As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining and shaping the product's quality roadmap. This position offers significant flexibility and the opportunity to take on comprehensive responsibilities across the engineering stack at Poshn.
• You will be involved in lean experimentation to develop digital experiments that accelerate evidence-based decision- making, influencing product, business, and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with UX and Data Engineering teams to ensure our products and services meet critical customer needs, thereby delivering outstanding customer and business value.
• Initiative in system improvements at both the design and implementation levels is expected as Poshn expands.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to grasp business objectives and convert them into quantifiable testing goals.
• Develop and manage testing environments tailored to validate application functionalities according to the established requirements.
• Lead comprehensive QA projects from start to finish, ensuring robust execution and adherence to project goals.
• Craft, maintain, and execute a suite of test cases for both manual and automated testing to ensure product scalability and efficiency.
• Perform thorough testing processes, streamline onboarding procedures for new platforms, and conduct detailed analysis to identify the root causes of issues and recommend viable solutions.
• Assume full responsibility for the quality assurance aspects of the product, ensuring efficient communication and timely delivery of tasks.
• Guide and mentor junior members of the QA team, setting high standards for quality and adherence to best practices in software testing.
Career Experience We'd Love to See:
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in testing web and mobile applications.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee significant QA initiatives from inception to deployment, ensuring quality and compliance throughout.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Technical Experience We’d Love to See:
• Expertise in at-least one of the test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium , Rest Assured
• Proficient in scripting languages used in test automation such as Puppeteer, Python.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, with strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices using bitbucket pipelines, performance and memory tuning, and security testing
