Navtech is looking for a Python Developer to work on cutting edge technologies combined with an ability to be innovative while creating solutions in a team environment. Working as Python Developer at Navtech, you will:

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Test and debug programs.
• Participate in full development life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Integrate data storage solutions like MongoDB, MySQL etc.
• Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
• Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
• Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Coordinate, guide, and mentor other software engineers within the team to understand user requirements and provide better technical solutions.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly?

• 1-3 years of experience as a Python Developer with knowledge of web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB into one system.
• Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, APIs, HTML, etc.
• Proficient understanding of any of the code versioning tools like Git, SVN etc.
• Familiarity with NoSQL database (Redis, Cassandra).
• Ability to work in a cloud environment. Experience on AWS or Azure would be an added advantage.
• Should have a Master’s Degree /Bachelor's (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English Medium.
• Should have good logical, analytical and communication skills with client interaction experience.

Desired Skills

• Experience on Mern Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, object-oriented JS, its quirks, and workarounds•
• Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript• Strong proficiency with JavaScript or CoffeeScript depending on your technology stack.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less•
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, jQuery, and AJAX•
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD•

Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Laravel and CodeIgniter is must

· Previous experience creating scalable applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as a React.js Developer.(2-8 years)
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• should have hands-on experience in backend software development using Java.
• should have proven expertise in Spring Boot REST/Microservices.
• should have working experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Minimum 3+ years' experience as a software developer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML 5, CSS.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Linux and/or OS X experience.
• Experience consuming API endpoints.
• Good to have - Kafka/queuing system
• Should be well-versed in using multiple Databases - SQL/NO SQL,
• Should have experience using in- memory Data Bases-Redis
• Experience with Unit-Testing.
• Experience building web applications with responsive design.
• Experience with Node.js and/or other server-side JavaScript technologies and tools.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, user interfaces, web standards and usability.
