About the Team

Our core team consists of alumni from BITS Pilani, IIM, and XLRI, each with a decade-long experience in supply chain, technology, and product development. Previously, we have built several highly impactful tech-product startups from the ground up.

About the Role: Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our team to define the product roadmap and take ownership of the web development stack. You will have the flexibility to innovate and implement new solutions that enhance our platform, working alongside UX, data engineering, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, build, and configure applications to meet business processes and application requirements. You will work across the frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

• Frontend Engineering: Convert designs into smooth, user-friendly interfaces. Analyze UI/UX designs and suggest the best approaches for implementation.

• Backend Engineering: Build scalable backend systems using microservices architecture. Optimize database models, queries, and ensure high availability and performance.

• Requirements Gathering: Capture and clearly articulate technical requirements by working closely with stakeholders and end customers. Prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.

• Code Quality: Write testable, scalable, and efficient code. Lead code reviews and ensure that software quality standards are met.

• Solution Implementation: Take ownership of assigned products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Carry out solution testing, including root-cause analysis, and suggest logical alternatives when needed.

Career Experience

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in full stack development, including significant contributions to at least three web development projects.

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in frontend frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS, or AngularJS) and backend technologies (NodeJS, Go, or Python).

• Microservices Architecture: Experience building scalable backend microservices architecture.

• Database Management: Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and database optimization.

• Agile Methodologies: Familiar with agile development practices, including coding standards, documentation, unit testing, and version control using Git.

Bonus Points/Nice to Have

• E-commerce/Supply Chain Experience: Any experience or knowledge in the e-commerce or supply chain industry.

About the Role:

•  As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining and shaping the product's quality roadmap. This position offers significant flexibility and the opportunity to take on comprehensive responsibilities across the engineering stack at Poshn.

•  You will be involved in lean experimentation to develop digital experiments that accelerate evidence-based decision- making, influencing product, business, and commercial strategies.

•  Collaborate with UX and Data Engineering teams to ensure our products and services meet critical customer needs, thereby delivering outstanding customer and business value.

•  Initiative in system improvements at both the design and implementation levels is expected as Poshn expands.

Responsibilities:

•  Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to grasp business objectives and convert them into quantifiable testing goals.

•  Develop and manage testing environments tailored to validate application functionalities according to the established requirements.

•  Lead comprehensive QA projects from start to finish, ensuring robust execution and adherence to project goals.

•  Craft, maintain, and execute a suite of test cases for both manual and automated testing to ensure product scalability and efficiency.

•  Perform thorough testing processes, streamline onboarding procedures for new platforms, and conduct detailed analysis to identify the root causes of issues and recommend viable solutions.

•  Assume full responsibility for the quality assurance aspects of the product, ensuring efficient communication and timely delivery of tasks.

•  Guide and mentor junior members of the QA team, setting high standards for quality and adherence to best practices in software testing.

Career Experience We'd Love to See:

•  You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in testing web and mobile applications.

•  Demonstrated ability to oversee significant QA initiatives from inception to deployment, ensuring quality and compliance throughout.

•  Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Technical Experience We’d Love to See:

•  Expertise in at-least one of the test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium , Rest Assured

•  Proficient in scripting languages used in test automation such as Puppeteer, Python.

•  Experience in both manual and automated testing, with strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and inconsistencies.

•  Knowledge of CI/CD practices using bitbucket pipelines, performance and memory tuning, and security testing
