As Java developer you would be expected to perform many duties throughout the development lifecycle of applications, from concept and design right through to testing. Here are some of the responsibilities you may have:

Develop high-level design and define software architecture

Implement and maintain quality systems within the group

Proficiently estimates, design approaches and nimbly move to alternate apporaches, if needed, develop and execute unit test strategies

Monitor and track tasks, and report status

Assist project heads to conceptualize, design, develop, test and implement technology solutions

Effectively collaborate with stakeholders and users to ensure customer satisfaction

Skill Set :

Java 7 / Java 8 with microservices, Multithreading, Springboot, Junit, kafka, Splunk (Good to have), Open Shift (Good to Have), Authentication/ Spring Security (Good to have)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership by guiding and mentoring software engineers in creating robust and scalable solutions.
• Lead the recruitment process to identify and onboard top-tier engineering talent.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the technical team.
• Architectural Vision:
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, senior technical stakeholders, and product managers to shape the architectural vision and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical design discussions and contribute hands-on expertise to development efforts.
• Drive the evolution of development processes, establish meaningful metrics, and cultivate a team culture emphasizing technical excellence.
• Lead POCs and technical evaluations

• Managerial and Technical Expertise:
• Possess 3+ years of managerial experience and a solid 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrate prior success in leading and growing cross-functional development teams of 10-20 individual contributors.
• Software Delivery Excellence:
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines, emphasizing agility in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
• Technical Proficiency:

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:-

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

• Own the lifecycle of users from on-boarding, setup, to the day-to-day support, including serving as front-line for issues on the ongoing engagements.

• Crafting well-written user-facing communications and documentation.
• Translating user feedback and needs to well-scoped requirements, and collaborating with Engineering to deliver them.
• For the first 6-9 months, expect a lot of hands-on, detail-oriented work, often requiring your exposure to other areas like sales/account management, including occasionally plugging in on for other functions.
• In the mid-to-long-term, expect an increasing amount of specialization into a deeper role, with the possibility of eventually building and scaling a team.
