Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Office 365 & Intune Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise-level collaboration, endpoint, and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Office 365, Intune, Entra ID, and automation, along with experience supporting Data Center Operations (DCO) and Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.
Key Responsibilities
Office 365 Administration:
- Manage and maintain all Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Handle user accounts, licenses, permissions, and configuration changes.
Intune Administration:
- Oversee device management, configuration policies, application deployment, and mobile device management (MDM) to ensure secure access.
Identity & Security Management:
- Maintain strong endpoint and user security through Entra ID, MFA, DLP, and compliance policies.
Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and other automation tools to streamline Office 365 and Intune administrative tasks.
- Use Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation (IaC).
Monitoring & Incident Response:
- Monitor performance, health, and security of Office 365 and Intune environments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and ensure timely incident resolution.
Backup & Recovery:
- Manage backup solutions for Office 365 data and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
User Support & Documentation:
- Deliver end-user and technical team support, maintain comprehensive documentation, and create internal training resources.
Key Deliverables
- Reliable and secure operation of Office 365 and Intune services.
- Effective integration with DCO and NOC operations.
- Timely incident response ensuring 24/7 availability.
- Efficient management of licenses, accounts, and security settings.
- Regular monitoring, reporting, and auditing of system health and compliance.
- Updated documentation and training resources for internal teams.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in Office 365 Administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for device management and application deployment.
- Solid understanding of Entra ID and identity security principles.
- Experience in Data Center Operations (DCO) and NOC support.
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and automation via Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of security & compliance tools such as MFA, DLP, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions for Office 365 environments.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support 24/7 operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
- Handle a portfolio of projects and clients in parallel from Fortune 1000 companies and across geographies.
- Plan for a quarter ahead and develop an execution plan for projects and people in the team. Need to be ahead of both client and internal resources in planning and execution.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with product delivery, the sales team, client and account managers.
- Make sure that the projects are achieving promised business value/RoI and figure out ways to achieve it if there is a gap.
- Build Rapport with clients and manage those effectively, high end consulting touch would be required
- Manage escalations, variations, complexities in projects effectively.
- Able to effectively use the established frameworks in project execution, client handling, resource utilization, resource mentoring etc.
- Directly supervises functional consultants, solution architects; conducts employee performance reviews/evaluations and career development discussions
- Manage up- Make sure to keep the higher management honest and able to strike a right balance between issues/items that are to be escalated vs that are to be handled.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree (preferably from a top reputed university)
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with small and large groups
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand Fortune 1000 client business complexities and handle those
Experience:
- Overall 8+ years of professional services experience with extensive experience in customer facing roles and involved in requirements gathering, gap analysis, feasibility study etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Project manager or equivalent role demonstrating management and leadership experience, preferably in a fast paced consulting / professional services set-up.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing large portfolio, leading cross-functional teams and tracking the project progress against the plans
- Experience in leading and mentoring people as part of the project life cycle.
- Experience in following the established processes/standards/templates to achieve successful results.
- Experience with Invoice-to-Cash related business process is desirable
