We are hiring for QA Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs and collaborate with the software design team. To ensure success as a QA automation engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, must be able to design and write efficient test procedures for every software application.

• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
• Collaborating with operations teams to understand the customer issues and feedbacks and work with the various software teams to solve application faults.
• Analyse and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
• Experience in writing automation scripts using PHP and Selenium (RC and WebDriver)
• Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.

  Write and post technical job descriptions 

  Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes 

  Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities 

  Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions) 

  Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs 

  Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates 

  Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals 

  Compose job offer letters 

  Onboard new hires  

This role will work with some of our most important integrations between The company Product and financial institutions & Partners – making sure that API's are implemented and tested and data mapped in a standardized and quality-assured way.

Mandatory skill sets of the Candidate:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in XSLT language (XSLT 1.0 + 2.0)
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in XML processing (XPath, XSD schema)
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Java (v11) and Junit
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Experience working in agile development processes
• Familiarity with code versioning tools Git, JIRA

Other Desired Skills and Experience

• More than 5 Years of experience with Payment Ecosystems
• More than 5 Years of experience in Integration to Banks, Payment Acquirers, PSP’s
• Upon having demonstrated results in this role – responsibility can expand into the product team for developing the core product

We are looking for a self-motivated independent thinker who can contribute to our Engineering Team. In this role you will take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with. 

Core Responsibilities:

• You would have the opportunity to work with a number of leading edge technologies. 
• Write test cases to test code using automation frameworks, as well as create and continuously improve our test automation environment.
• Develop & maintain automated test scripts covering functional correctness using Object Oriented programming concepts, for both new features & Regression testing of existing functionality
• Understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our QA process
• Work directly with both Software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand features, review technical implementations, and implement testing strategy.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy, design documentation for automation processes 

Skills and Expertise: 

• Minimum 4 Years’ Experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of various automated tools that are used in the Automated testing procedures. Execute interactive test procedures. Proficient in writing Automation scripts.
• Sound knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages. Java and Java script
• Good knowledge of SQL queries. Practical knowledge of web-based technologies
• Proven experience with Web-application Automation testing, Mobile apps testing.
• Understanding of OO concepts & its application to Automation framework
• Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement
• Ability to communicate clearly with different areas of the business.Clarity of written communication when describing and issue or QA failure
• Experience in working with an Agile Development Methodology like Scrum
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence 

 Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering
