Springer Capital is a real estate investment firm based in Chicago, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Springer engages in Capital Advisory for APAC Private Equity and Asset Management making financial investments in real estate and other sectors in US markets. 

Springer seeks an Remote LLM Intern to join the Technology side of the company. The internship can be onsite in Shanghai or conducted remotely. The start date of the internship is flexible.  

Job Highlights 

As an intern for the LLM team, you will be focusing on researching and developing AI tools that automate some parts of our business automation. As business automation is important throughout the firm, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Springer. 

What you will do as an intern: 

Answer various business challenges using data generated through AI software.  

Designing, monitoring, and implementing solutions to extract data using existing AI tools.  

Report your findings in AI data to your manager.

Interns will have group calls with the director and supervisors regularly for up-to-date and constructive feedback

Technical and legal Information 

The internship enrollment period is flexible. The expected hours are 20 per week for ~3 months. Upon completion, you will receive an internship confirmation letter, or you can apply to your school for internship credit.  

Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position. 

Requirements:

• 7+ years in enterprise application development
• Proven track record of delivering complex digital solutions
• Advanced knowledge of React hooks, context API, and component and global state management
• Experience with atomic design, component libraries, and TypeScript
• Proficiency in React performance optimization and modern features
• Strong experience with modern .NET (6+)
• Proven track record applying Clean Architecture & Clean Code & SOLID principles & DDD patterns
• Expertise in building scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and message-based architectures
• Proficiency in resources like App Insights, Function Apps, Key Vaults, and App Services
• Expertise in cloud development and deployment strategies
• Strong understanding of business needs, ability to meet them by creating cutting-edge solutions
• Brilliant communication abilities, knowing how to explain technical details and processes to a non-tech person

 Responsibilities:

• Front-end, API, and back-end development, ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions
• Drive innovation by staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with the Product Manager, UX/UI Designers, and Engineering Manager to define agile technical requirements, provide technical estimation, and prioritize backlogs based on business needs and technical feasibility
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning meetings to ensure alignment between technical implementation and product roadmap
• Participate in hands-on development activities, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting, to deliver high-quality applications

Fullstack Developer

Job description -

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the client applications. Apart from this you will be working actively on designing and implementing cloud infrastructure (AWS) and contribute to the overall architecture of the application.

Experience - 4+ Years

Core Requirements -

* Experience in software development and experience with e-commerce systems, relevant 3rd party integrations.

* Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node JS.

* Shows a strong grasp of web technologies and architectural principles necessary for designing scalable, extensible and maintainable web applications and services.

*Needs to have some exposure to cloud technologies like AWS/GCP/Azure. 

* Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, web design patterns like MVC, ORM technologies.

* Experience and familiarity with the tech stack - Node.js, MySQL, Express.js.

* Server less framework, REST, ORM Libraries. Exposure to the JAVA tech stack with technologies like Java J2EE, spring and Hibernate is a major plus point.

* Experience with developing REST APIs. Understanding of the basic principles of REST.

* Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
