Role Description
The core sales executive in a freight brokerage company plays a vital role in supporting the sales and logistics operations. This position bridges the gap between account executives, operations, customers, and carrier partners. The coordinator is responsible for managing customer inquiries, assisting with freight quotes, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination of freight movement. The goal is to provide excellent customer service, maintain organized communication, and support the sales team in achieving revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support freight brokers and sales executives with day-to-day sales activities.
- Assist with quoting, order entry, and coordinating shipments with carriers and customers.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Communicate with carriers to confirm availability, rates, and transit times.
- Prepare documents such as rate confirmations, bills of lading (BOL), and shipment schedules.
- Help generate and maintain reports on sales performance, customer activity, and KPIs.
- Provide high-level customer service and resolve issues or delays proactively.
- Coordinate with accounting for billing and invoice reconciliation related to sales.
- Maintain organized records of quotes, contracts, and shipment history.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in an ed tech, telesales, logistics transportation, or freight brokerage environment preferred.
- Familiarity with freight types (LTL, FTL, and intermodal) and logistics terms is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure Smooth onboarding of 15-20 new clients according to SEO Roadmap
Perform and Implement 15-20 new website audits per month
Plan ongoing SEO Strategy for 200 websites per month based on company’s guidelines
Diligently complete all monthly activities as per SEO road map for new and existing client and report
Actively monitor and improve SEO rankings and website performance of 100+ clients and immediately catch any sudden ranking drops in rankings or any other website issues as they happen
Oversee and QA all SEO activity (backlinks, social, rankings, citations, ppc, audits, content) as per company guidelines
Come up with “Unique strategies” for 50 struggling clients every month (Booster List)
Monitor online visibility and performance for 100-200 sites per month
Ensure all client reports (backlinks, social, rankings, citations, ppc, audits) are updated, ready and organised by the 28th of each month
Oversee and manage SEO Reporting for 200 websites and ensure documentation as per company guidelines
Prepare monthly report of all SEO/internet marketing related updates and present to stakeholders using skype
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for generating sales opportunities in their region. Their role will require them to do the following:
1. Find customers willing to buy Veera products
2. Negotiate price points for volume orders that are pre-sales in nature
3. Assist with the end-to-end relationship of the account, and ensure that payments are recieved over time in the correct amount.
