About the Role: LOOKING FOR QA ENGINEERS(ONLY FROM SAAS-BASED COMPANIES)

You will help the team in building an awesome testing platform that can be leveraged by QA for testing the product for quality & stability.

You should have hands-on software development experience to design and implement test automation infrastructure. You will have to implement test automation systems and provide seamless integration with DevOps infrastructure. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Location = Mumbai

Responsibilities:

Implementation of test automation for Web Interface and Mobile Applications

Implement functional and non-functional API Testing or integration testing

Carry out Load testing and Performance testing as required

Integration of test suite and testing tools with DevOps Infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

Assist the QA team to be able to diagnose the test case failures

Follow agile test methodology for timely delivery of test case automation

Manage the upkeep of existing Automation Regression suite based on changes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

0 to 1 year of relevant experience in the testing domain

Self-driven with the ability to work independently and carry out assignments as required.

Knowledge of Selenium or Appium framework with JAVA is a must-have

Programming ability in JAVA

Exposure to API testing, load testing, system integration will be a big plus

Experience in working on Linux/Unix OS and cloud environment such as AWS

Requirements and Qualifications: 

• 1- 3 years Job Experience (startup preferred)
• Expert in at least 1 programming language.
• QA Framework knowledge.

Domain: Automation Testing – Selenium Job Purpose • Thought leadership - Consult with the client and setup/guides a team to strategize, design, implement and run automation solution supporting variety of applications • Technical leadership - Identify, evaluate, recommend, and optimize current automated testing processes and tools • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach across project teams • Oversee technological delivery of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams • setting up end to end QA processes across Requirement Analysis,Test Strategy/Design and Test reporting • Participate in design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams • Designing & implementing enterprise wide QA strategy for variety of clients including complex applications across multiple tech stacks (involving both functional and automation testing) • Planning, estimating (should be aware of robust models and how to use them) and tracking team’s work • Status reporting: Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status etc. • Mentors/guides the team on technical knowhow • Adhere to company project standards and guidelines Mandatory Skills & Experience • 10-14 years of overall testing experience and atleast 4+ years of in-depth experience in establishing test automation frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing continuous testing strategy • Hands on framework development for a Green Field Project • Strong hands on experience in Java/JavaScript programming languages; java collection frameworks • Strong experience on QA Automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber/Appium/SOAPUIetc. • Strong exposure on UI or API automation, hands on Webservices/Microservices automation • Experience in CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab(preferable) / Jenkins • Experience in Cloud tech preferably AWS • Experience on Cloud Platforms such as Sauce Labs, Perfecto • Functional tools like Selenium (mandate), Webdriver IO, NightWatchJS, etc • Should have basic knowledge of JMeter or any other equivalent Performance testing tool • Sound Knowledge of methodologies and approaches such as Agile, BDD, DevOps etc. • Industry experience on Financial Services is preferred. Must have Experience of UI testing using Automation tools like Selenium for Web and , Appium for Mobile application. • Must have clear understanding about Selenium/Appium Architecture, Page Object Model, Page Factory designs, Singleton and Builder Design Pattern • Good Experience of using locators (CSS/Xpath), Action Interface, JavaScript Executor • Have good exposure in validating API’s using any tool such as Postman/SoapUI • Basic understanding of API testing using Rest Assured. • Basic understanding of BDD concept with Cucumber as Tool • Experience with TFS/ GitHub • Must have Knowledge of TestNG/Junit . • Must have Programming languages knowledge: Java with strong knowledge of OOPS concept,Exception Handling, Reflection, Serialization and Collection Framework • Must have worked with following technologies Extent Report, Apache POI, Log4J, JSON • Experience of working with any of the databases (e.g.: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo Db etc.) • Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins and Docker or equivalent CI/CD • Must have good Manual testing experience of STLC, creating test scenarios, test cases with different test design techniques, Logging defects • Strong team player, flexible and should be able to shape up with different teams. • Demonstrated ability to focus and complete multi tasks on time. • Above average communication and should be able to explain architecture of current project. • Working experience in testing the AUT developed/delivered with Agile project framework. • Hands on experience on at least one Test Management or Defect Management tool for example ALM, JIRA, or any Microsoft tool etc. If this role sounds exciting to you and fulfil your future goals, then we would love to hear from you.

- Experience using test management tools

- Extensive experience with UI Automation tools, preferably Selenium Web driver and Appium with Java
