ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for early members of our India team. You will be part of the team that establishes our India product development team. We are looking for candidates who have high potential, are excited about tackling the climate change problem and are excited to grow in a high-growth environment while working with the Singapore HQ.

A junior/mid-level React developer. Must be comfortable to work in a small development team and have the initiative to work alone on smaller problem sets.

• Build frontend features using React & typescript
• Collaborate with the backend team on API requirements and contracts
• Analyse processes and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new technologies, and better assist other team members.
• Take lead on projects, as needed.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline AND 1+ years working experience in the IT industry.

Must have 1.5 years of experience in front end development in an internet startup

Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience

Proficiency with javascript and html5

Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30 fps at all times

Thorough understanding of the responsibility of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies and other web services used in the system

Creating custom general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them in to technical requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Designing and implementing web applications using JavaScript and its frameworks (i.a. React, Vue, Angular), HTML5 and CSS3
• Working closely with the dispersed development team, client, and project manager in the SCRUM methodology
