Position: Frontend Engg (Angular)

Exp Level: 2-4 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that our software meets business, quality and operational needs.

• Focus on scalability, speed, cross-browser compatibility, security, and availability of all applications and processes.

• Collaborate with peer organizations, devops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance.

• Work with a team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience in Angular

• Detail oriented and conscientious in implementing designs you have signed off on

• Self-motivator with strong communication skills

• Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, but not required

• Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practices.

• Thorough knowledge of Angular modules, components, services, routing, web pack, material, flex box.

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Good to have - Experience with Agile methodologies

• Integrating front end UI with constructed APIs.

• Experience with NgRx and Rxjs for state management and reactive programming.

• Familiarity with tools like GitHub and Azure.

THIS IS YOU:

• Extensive experience with Angular and TypeScript. You are comfortable with the ins and outs of these technologies or related, from building and deploying applications to debugging and optimizing performance.
• A passion for shipping. Bonus points for Trunk Based Development. CI/CD is your default. Putting code live every day is standard practice.
• Familiarity with module federation and cloud environments. You understand how to build and deploy micro frontends using module federation and how to optimize performance and scalability in cloud environments.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining component libraries. You have experience in building and maintaining component libraries that can be used across multiple applications, ensuring consistency, and reducing development time.
• User-centric approach to frontend development. You prioritize user needs and preferences when developing front-end interfaces, working closely with product designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Attention to the details when implementing UI.
• A Best tool for the job mentality. You are not a zealot and know that having a hammer does not make everything a nail. You are not afraid to try something new and know how to build consensus and knowledge in the team for new tech and concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the design team to discuss application features and design ideas.
• Researching similar application designs and user interface modules.
• Creating a website and application design mockups with enhanced UI features.
• Presenting updated front-end designs for final sign-off.
• Writing the front-end code and building the user interface.
• Debugging code errors and troubleshooting software issues.
• Conducting live application tests and tweaks.
• Updating web applications in line with user trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, Persistence, Threading.
• Good understanding of version control system (GIT).
• Knowledgeable in data structures and algorithms.
• Good understanding of web stack and how all the pieces fit together.

• 3+ years prior experience as a UI engineer.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools including Selenium, Jasmine, and Karma.
• In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality.
• Proficient with front-end languages including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools including InVision Studio, Balsamiq, and Sketch.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
