Roles and Responsibilities:

∙Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications                               

∙Implement and optimize Microservices architecture using Spring Boot                      

∙Utilize Hibernate for efficient data management and database interactions              

∙Implement and optimize asynchronous communication using technologies such as 

Active MQ, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka, etc.                                    

∙Write unit tests using Junit and Mockito for robust code coverage                              

∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features              

∙Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards                 

∙Utilize SQL for effective database querying and manipulation                                        

∙Work with GIT for version control and code collaboration                                               

∙Track and manage tasks using JIRA            

Back-end developers design and enable code-based innovation in our suite of web-based platforms and databases. Together with the front-end development team output enabling a intuitive, highly functional and seamless experience that delights our users.

This opportunity will rely on your ability to develop backend code, create, edit, or manipulate platform databases, leverage an API based integration approach for platform development.

We are looking for:

• Prior experience designing and developing backend code in support of web applications and platforms
• Sound programming skills and logic

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge and experience with backend technology such as Node, SQL, Python

Key initial responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and compile high quality code, data artifacts , processes, in support of the buildout of our platform and web applications
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers and Front-end developers to establish and satisfy development objectives
• Foster innovation supporting new and existing programs, products, and features through a combination of thought leadership and emerging industry trends
• Reconciling data and reporting deliverables to internal and client teams
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Taking lead on projects as needed.

Your Skills & Experience:

•1-8 Years experience of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

• If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/.Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

•Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality

•Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

•Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

•Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

•Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

•Guides the development of reference and resource materials

•Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

•Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

•Participates in Agile sprints

As an SSE, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems

that power our platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Python Django and a

strong understanding of databases, caching, and distributed systems.

● Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using

Python Django.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate

them into technical solutions.

● Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing caching strategies, load

balancing, and distributed computing techniques.

● Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices for data storage, retrieval,

and access control.

● Develop and maintain integrations with external APIs and services to support seamless

interactions with third-party systems.

● Identify and address performance bottlenecks and other system issues to improve overall
