Database Administrator (DBA)

EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BE/MCA/ B.TECH / BCA

Exp -  Min 4 yrs  

CTC – Upto 12 LPA

Job Description:

1. Installing, Configuring, Managing, Monitoring and troubleshooting SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016
2. Database administration activities like Installation, Configuration, Backup & Recovery, and Database Security.
3. Providing availability solutions like Mirroring, Log Shipping, Replication and Always on.
4. Database Up gradation and Migration
5. Ensure performance monitoring, backup, restore, and security recovery solutions.
6. Troubleshooting expertise in SQL server issues under production environment.
7. Handling the entire production servers with skills and understanding client's requirement Experience in Database administration activities for DB Security (creating users, roles, and assigning permission to them).
8. Automating process by creating jobs, and error reporting using Alerts by SQL Server Agent.
9. Backup and Recovery strategy, Database Refreshes.
10. Creation and maintenance of Databases, creating Roles and managing user permissions.
11. Setting up, trouble shooting and maintenance of production server databases.
12. Providing Production support for Database and Applications.
13. SQL Server store procedure, functions, View, Index and trigger development.

 

Job requirement:

1. Deep understanding of OS and its management including kernel space management
2. Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
3. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, Nginx, etc.
4. Experience in Monitoring tools like Nagios.
5. Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
6. Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HA Proxy, etc.
7. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Xen KVM and VMware.
8. Ability to build and monitor services on production servers

🎓 Education & Skills

• Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• 1–3 years of experience in service operations or site coordination

• Basic understanding of service workflows, job cards, and safety norms

• Proficient in emails, Excel, WhatsApp coordination, and basic CRM usage

• Strong coordination skills, problem-solving ability, and discipline

1. Receive approved Sales Orders (SO) / work instructions from AFS Commercial

2. Plan service execution schedules in coordination with clients

3. Deploy technicians as per job requirements and skill set

4. Ensure technicians report on time to site and start work as scheduled

5. Monitor daily job progress and site status

1. Allocate manpower, tools, and consumables as required

2. Coordinate with stores for spares or material dispatch

3. Ensure technicians follow safety procedures and site protocols

4. Handle site-level issues and escalate when required

Requirement -

• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products 
• Implement new features to solve critical problems that our customers face in their development and testing cycle. 
• Define, track and improve feature success metric. 
• Work closely with our engineering and design teams to simplify testing for our customers Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing and GTM team and execute successful product launches

Experience –

• 3 – 5 years of overall experience in Product Management or Engineering Passionate or hands-on about programming, software testing and DevOps Able to understand and write code. 
• Have prior experience building or using developer products Strong hold on basic tech concepts. Willingness to learn advanced concepts. 
• Experience in web, app development or automation testing is a plus (Optional)

• Have outstanding written and spoken English and experienced in writing business letters for the organization, technical documentation including manuals.
• Responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit.
• Ability to Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Have the ability to Design & develop new process & provide expert advice on and/or assist in implementing new processes.
• Have vast experience in proofing and editing.
• Excellent computer skills and expertise in using Microsoft Office tools.
• Have excellent research skill and can use Internet research tools in an efficient way

• Work with multiple Business Departments and IT teams to capture requirements and help designing and implementing the solution
• Ability to communicate effectively both over the phone and in person & Strong research skills developed through work experience and course work.

• Strong experience working as a .Net developer.
• Proficient in Microsoft .NET development using C#. Experience with web development technologies including http://asp.net/">ASP.NET, MVC, EF, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, AJAX, and CSS.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with source control management systems and deployment environments.
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization.
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Experience and ability to translate designs into Wordpress pages using Page Builder (Visual Composer, Divi or Elementor) and PHP
• Designing and managing the website back-end with PHP including database and server integration.
• Developing custom Wordpress themes.
• Integration of third party plugins and APIs.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting Wordpress related issues.

Requirements:

• Proficient with any plugin.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3 and HTML5
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Good communication skills.

• PHP Web Development experience - Core PHP and PHP frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack}
• Should have positive and adaptive behavior. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding client requirements & functional specifications
