Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to release high quality software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with the tech team and the product manager, designing testing strategies, automated and manual testing for mobile and web modules of the product. It is an individual contributor role wherein the person would work with a small but highly competitive and effective team.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Execute test cases as per Test plans.
• Design, write & execute functional and regression tests.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot and test software.
• Ensure delivery of extremely high quality products to end customers.
• Adopt and adhere to QA processes.
• Run non-functional tests using automated tools.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of work experience as a Quality assurance engineer.
• Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile & API testing.
• Experience using API management tools like Postman.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a product based startup would be preferred.
• BE/BTech Computers, MSc/MCA or similar.

What does the role entail:

• Design and implement test automation frameworks to ensure that the testing process is efficient, effective, and can be maintained over time.

• Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement in our educational product. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as development, product management, and user experience, to ensure that the testing process is integrated with the overall product development process

• Work to continuously improve the testing process, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate testing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software products.

• Write, execute, and maintain automated test cases using a Selenium with Java and commercial automation tool (e.g.TestComplete, UFT, etc.).

• Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies and continuously assess their effectiveness.

• Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Develop and implement automation standards and processes.

• Write code to automate the testing process, including the creation of test harnesses, stubs, and drivers.

• Collaborate with developers to identify areas for improvement in the development process.

• Understand how all components and interfaces of the product work together.

Must have skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in the automation testing field.

• Strong coding and scripting skills in one or more OOPs programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).

• Experience with enterprise commercial automation tools (Codeless tool) like TOSCA, TestComplete, Katalon, UFT etc.

• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java Mandatory.

• Automation experience with CRM/ERP applications like Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts.

• Practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional and non-functional testing such as performance, reliability and security.

• Experience utilizing and testing web services, especially REST services.

• Familiar with build and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Banking domain, cards area (Credit, debit and prepaid)
• Excellent understanding of Cards and payments technologies
• Know-how of process mapping, requirement gathering, gap analysis, documentation
• Good understanding of following aspects of Vision Plus – CMS, FAS, CDM, TRAMS, Functional understanding of all VisionPLUS blocks, VMXservices, Various reports.
• End to end exposure on testing related activities.
• Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools like JIRA / QC.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Perform peer review and regular reporting on progress made.
• Must be a very good team player & willing to learn new skills.

Our Requirement

• Hands on experience in developing test codes using Python and Pytest frameworks for a minimum of 3 years
• Experience in writing test cases for embedded software for a minimum of 1 years
• Experience with Agile Software Workflows such as Scrum
• Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence
• Should be an expert in Python
• Hand on experience with OOPS
• Strong communication skills
• Hands-on experience in API testing & developing automation test script for mobile or tablet devices using Appium
• Ability to identify new testing techniques and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong collaboration, oral and written skills

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of Bluethooth, BLE, understanding of WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n)
• Ability to propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
• Ability to carefully examine requirements and specifications to anticipate quality issues and provide timely feedback when specifications are incomplete or inaccurate
• Experience testing Firmware is plus
• Develop and implement unit and integration test cases and scripts for embedded firmware

• Required Educational Qualifications: Minimum B.E/B.Tech with 60% in academics.
• Min. Experience Required: 8 years.
• Should be able to join immediately or within 15 days
