Fountane is seeking a hands-on thinker, creator, and doer accountable for the successful development and execution of 3D assets for fashion and lifestyle products from technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience in 3D modeling and rendering and should possess the creativity to think and act as a designer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Texturing, lighting, and rendering 3D models of fashion apparels and accessories
• Organizing and maintaining a digital library of 3D assets.
• Willing to learn new software and upgrade to multi-software working.
• Enthusiastic team player and always open for idea discussions.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

• 1-2 years of work experience in the Fashion/animation/game design industries
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Substance Painter, Designer, and Sampler
• Proficiency in 3D rendering software (Maya, Marvelous Designer, 3DsMax, Rhino, Blender, or other similar software)
• Creative, driven, and proactive in taking initiative.
• Excellent artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Adheres to a fast-paced work structure and is ready to invest long-term.

Responsibilities 

• Identify opportunities for new products

• Analyse how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences

• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and clients

• Research materials and techniques

• Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)

• Mock-ups and prototyping

• Use 3D modelling software to design products

• Produce prototypes and test functionality

• Improve the design of existing products

• Gather feedback from product users

• Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends

• Provide assistance to product engineers when needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Product Designer

• Experience in industrial design

• Creativity in mixing up colours, shapes and techniques

• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design tools

• Good knowledge of 3D modelling software

• Time-management skills

• Adaptability

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members

• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives.

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN HOME DECOR DESIGN, HOME ACCESSORIES DESIGN, ETC.
