Job Description: Junior SEO Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated junior SEO executive with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will support the planning and execution of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities to help improve organic search visibility, traffic, and rankings.

Key Responsibilities

●      Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities

●      Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, content optimization)

●      Assist in off-page SEO activities including link building, guest posting, and outreach

●      Support basic technical SEO tasks (sitemap updates, robots.txt checks, broken link fixes, page speed monitoring)

●      Track and report keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO KPIs using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics

●      Monitor website performance and identify issues affecting search rankings

●      Coordinate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in blogs, landing pages, and website copy

●      Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm updates and industry trends

●      Assist in competitor analysis and benchmarking

Required Skills & Qualifications

●      Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field

●      1–2 years of relevant experience in SEO or digital marketing

●      Working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz

●      Basic understanding of HTML/CSS as it relates to SEO

●      Good analytical and reporting skills (Excel/Google Sheets)

●      Strong written and verbal communication skills

●      Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Good to Have

●      Knowledge of local SEO and Google My Business optimization

●      Basic understanding of WordPress or other CMS platforms

●      Familiarity with schema markup and structured data

●      Exposure to social media or content marketing

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization Executive at MagicWorks IT Solutions. The SEO Executive will be responsible for tasks such as keyword research, on-page SEO optimization, link building, social media marketing, and performing SEO audits to enhance the online visibility and ranking of multiple international and domestic clients.

Experience: 6 months to 1.5 years

Qualification: Any graduate or post graduate or MBA in (Marketing/Sales) or related field with an excellent understanding of Digital Marketing.
