Senior Big Data Engineer

Key Qualifications

·   5+ years of experience working with Java and Spring technologies

· At least 3 years of programming experience working with Spark on big data; including experience with data profiling and building transformations

· Knowledge of microservices architecture is plus 

· Experience with any NoSQL databases such as HBase, MongoDB, or Cassandra

· Experience with Kafka or any streaming tools

· Knowledge of Scala would be preferable

· Experience with agile application development 

· Exposure of any Cloud Technologies including containers and Kubernetes 

· Demonstrated experience of performing DevOps for platforms 

· Strong Skillsets in Data Structures & Algorithm in using efficient way of code complexity

· Exposure to Graph databases

About the Role:

We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in CAD design, prototyping, and fabrication, along with working knowledge of electronics integration. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building real systems—turning CAD models into working prototypes, selecting and integrating actuators and sensors, and ensuring that electromechanical assemblies can withstand the demanding conditions of the marine environment. You will work closely with both the mechanical and embedded systems teams to bring complex vessel subsystems from design to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electromechanical subsystems and assemblies for unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
• Create CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings for precision parts and mechanisms.
• Oversee and participate in fabrication, assembly, and integration of prototypes.
• Collaborate with electronics engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, propulsion units, and power systems into mechanical designs.
• Ensure proper sealing, compartmentalization, and robustness of assemblies for long-term marine operation.
