Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Production Supervisors to manage shift-level production operations, manpower deployment, machine utilization, and daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage shift-wise production operations and achieve daily/weekly production targets.

Plan and optimize manpower allocation across production lines.

Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime.

Ensure in-process quality compliance.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and other support functions.

Monitor shop-floor activities and resolve production issues.

Prepare shift production and handover reports.

Ensure adherence to safety and production procedures.

Preferred Industry and Product Experience

Candidates should have experience in engineering or plastic products, preferably in:

Plastic Caps and Closures

Pharma Packaging and Pharma Products

Lubricant and Oil Caps

Remote Controls and Electronic Housings

Power Banks

Soundbars

Injection Moulded and Engineering Plastic Components

Candidate Profile

5–8 years of relevant production experience.

Diploma / B.E. in Plastic or Mechanical Engineering.

Strong experience in shop-floor and shift production management.

Hands-on experience in manpower handling and machine utilization.

Good coordination with Quality and Maintenance teams.

Comfortable working in 12-hour shifts.

Job Description – Production Engineer (Injection Molding)

Position: Production Engineer – Injection Molding

Location: Umbergaon, Gujarat

Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary

Responsible for managing shift-level production operations, manpower, machine utilization, and coordinating with support functions to achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-shift injection molding production operations.
• Achieve daily and weekly production targets as per production plans.
• Optimize manpower allocation across production lines.
• Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to in-process quality standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams for smooth production operations.
• Monitor production efficiency, cycle time, and machine performance.
• Maintain shift-wise production and handover reports.
• Ensure proper shop-floor discipline, safety, and 5S compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in Injection Molding production operations.
• Good understanding of production planning, manpower management, machine utilization, and quality control.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Maintenance and Quality teams.

• Sell Vacuum Casting and 3D Printing / Rapid Prototyping services
• Develop new customers and manage existing client relationships
• Understand technical requirements and coordinate with engineering teams
• Prepare quotations, negotiate deals, and close sales
• Achieve sales targets and support business growth

Requirements:

• Experience in Vacuum Casting / 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Engineering or technical background preferred
• Willingness to travel

Job Description:

· Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years of relevant experience

· Strong Knowledge of injection Molding simulation (Cool+Fill+Pack+Warp) using Autodesk Moldflow.

· Strong Knowledge on selection of gate location, 2k and insert Molding Analysis.

· Working knowledge on Plastic Injection Mold design.

· Strong knowledge in plastic material selection and able to suggest alternate material.

· Experience in Good knowledge of injection Molding process.

· Experience in solving injection Molding issues (weld lines, sink marks, warpage, etc).

· Able to find optimized process parameters for Injection Molding process Engineer.

· Strong analytical skills and results interpretation skills.

· Working understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA etc.

· Working experience in Product design

· Good exposure to manufacturing process

· Good Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM and DFA
