Actively participate in technical feasibility study, estimates, prepare Technical specification document, Coding & Unit testing, coordination and technical walk thru with Business Analysts, Testing Team and implementing the changes in the system. Principal Account abilities: Key activities and decision making areas Typical Targets and Measures Impact on the Business / Function [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS] · Understanding of High & low level designs. · Responsible for Analysis, Coding & Unit Test Plan and Unit Testing as per requirements outlined in Functional Specifications. · Perform program construction / modification as per requirements and fix the defects identified during testing phase · Able to identify system gaps and provide feasible technical solutions. · Assist and participate in deployment of system changes to various regions. · Guide other IT application teams due to changes in the Core applications. Typical Targets and Measures: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly disseminate information. · Applying Analytical & Coding skills for designing system changes · Produce Technical documentation covering module level specs ,work product reviews, Process improvements and unit test scenarios. · Knowledge of Cobol, JavaScript, HTML, Pathfinder, Rexx, CICS,DB2 & SQL query. · Hands on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms · Knowledge of INGENIUM Architecture Leadership & Teamwork [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS] · Work closely with Project Manager & Peer Team to ensure project objectives as defined by Management are met. · Work with different teams with in Information technology to achieve the organizational objectives. · Guiding vendor team and enhancing their skills to achieve company and personal goals. · Ensure issues raised are discussed and mitigated by providing innovative solutions. · Suggesting solutions to other IT functional teams. Operational Effectiveness & Control [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS] · Ensuring appropriate Documentation and closely working with Project manager during project progress. · Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy. · Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations. · Documentation of Technical Design and Module specs. · Documentation of work product reviews, Unit Test Plans and Test results and store in a common location. · Ensuring issues and risks are appropriately understood and escalated in a timely manner.
