Job description
Job Purpose
- This Position consists of training and knowledge building among the emerging candidates about Global market trading analysis.
- There will be on the floor experience of stock market analysis.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis in US markets such as the NYSE , NASDAQ & Amex
- Analyze securities performance and Pricing of companies listed on US market.
- Developing forecast and projections.
- Monitoring Industries Trends and Market news.
- Prepare technical reports based on the company's fundamentals and previous performances.
- After successful completion of the training period, a Learner would be a full-fledged US stock market analyst/trader who would be able to make wise and informed stock trading decisions.
- This profile DOES NOT entail selling/marketing of any financial products or services/ calling clients.
Work Timings and Location
- 06.00 PM to 03.00 AM
- Monday to Friday
- ITPP - International Tech Park, Kharadi, Pune.
- Stipend - 2,000 INR per month initially.
Qualifications
- Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude skills
- BCOM/BBA/MBA/PGDM (Finance) /NCFM , CFAs/CMTs and any graduate/post-graduate who has passion/skill for trading.
- The candidate must be in the age group of 20-25 years and should not have appeared in the selection process with us within the past 6 months.

NOTE -Candidates having excellent knowledge of Equity, order punching on terminals, Future & Options,
at GENPACT
• Investment accounting & reporting for insurance entities in scope
• Performs and review accounting functions, and maintains and prepares month-end, quarter-end and annual reports (GAAP & STAT) for assigned asset and investment accounting areas
• Preparation and review of Balance sheet, P&L and Cash reconciliations for Investment accounting entities
• Posting and review of Manual Journals for investment products such as equities, Bonds, derivatives
• Impairment processing as per US and European GAAP
• Working on complex derivative instruments, netting
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting- Statutory and Regulatory
• Working on tools like SAP, FAH, Bloomberg, Business objects (BO) etc
• Regular communication with onshore counterpart via e-mail, instant messenger and telephonic calls
• Mentoring team members, process associates and carries out process improvement initiatives in the investment accounting area
• All deliverables to be met at 100% SLA (both quality and timeliness)- SLA Governance
• Ensure 100% compliance and deadlines
• Daily journal entries for Investment purchase, sale and cash management
• Monthly accruals for interest, market value and premium/discount amortization
Role and Responsibilities
A Quantitative Strategist/Quantitative Trader profile at QuantX requires rigorous quantitative aptitude and go-get attitude.
- Deployment of quantitative models in Indian Equity and Derivatives markets to generate returns.
- Management of Quantitative Trading Programs.

Requirements
Education (Candidate should satisfy one of the following)
- B.Sc./M.Sc. Mathematics or B.Sc./M.Sc. Statistics from a reputed college with good grades
- Tech with good grades and strong quantitative aptitude
- CFA/FRM Level 1 cleared
- Any other degree with Financial Derivatives as a subject and through knowledge of Derivative Greeks (Portfolio Level, Risk Management, Hedging)
Skills
- Exceptional Quantitative Aptitude
- Psychological composure and Logical/Objective decision making
- Comfortable working on computer programs
Preferences
Following skill sets are not required but candidate will get preference if he/she possesses any of the following:
- Working knowledge of python for historical data analysis or working on real-time analytics getting feed from a web API (Data structures, numpy, scikit-learn, tensor flow)
- MATLAB/R for Time series analysis
- Knowledge of AFL ( Amibroker Formula Language)

Pay Structure

Junior Trader:
Base Salary I + 5% of Revenue share
Senior Trader:
(Base Salary I + 27% hike) + 10% of Revenue Share
