Duties

• Perform site survey and analysis on all noise and vibration requirement
• Develop acoustic system design concepts and report to achieve project and product performance requirements
• Troubleshoot noise issue and provide solution
• Collaborate with the sale team to provide acoustic solution through site visits and measurement
• Study Project specification and propose suitable product and solution
• Prepare project BOQ and Technical submittal
• Develop and improve the company acoustic products

Experience

• Good knowledge and understanding of acoustic testing and measurement techniques
• Good experience in Acoustic Software's
• Good Experience in AutoCAD and other modelling software

What will you do?

● Design, develop and maintain various Bioinformatics solutions for analyzing and managing Biological data as per our best practices and quality standards.

● Collaborate with Product Management and Software Engineers, to build bioinformatics solutions.

● Produce high quality and detailed documentation for all projects.

● Provide consultation and technical solutions to cross functional bioinformatics projects.

● Identify and/or conceive novel approaches to better and more efficiently analyze client and public datasets.

● Participate in defining the high-level application architecture for future roadmap requirements and features.

● Coach other team members by sharing domain and technical knowledge and code reviews.

● Participate in activities such as hiring and onboarding.

● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the bioinformatics software and analytical pipelines development lifecycle.

● Ensure compliance with our SDLC process during product development.

● Stay up-to-date on technology to deliver quality at each phase of the product life-cycle. You take leadership in evangelizing technical excellence within the team.

What do you bring to the table?

● Ph.D. degree with 3-5+ years of postdoc or industrial experience or Masters Degree with 5-8+ years of industrial experience in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Bioengineering, Computational Biology or related field

● Excellent programming skills in Python and Shell scripting

● Experience with Relational database such as PostgreSQL, mySQL or Oracle

● Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.

● Experience with Linux/UNIX/Mac OS X based systems

● Experience with high-performance Linux cluster and cloud computing (AWS is preferred).

● Deep understanding of analytical approaches and tools for genomic data analysis along with familiarity with genomic databases. Candidates with proven expertise in the analysis of NGS data generated on sequencing platforms such as Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, or Thermo will be prioritized.

● Experience with open source bioinformatics tools and publicly available variant databases.

● Ability to manage moderately complex projects and initiatives.

● Exceptionally strong communication, data presentation and visualization skills.

● Personal initiative and ability to work effectively within a cross functional team.

● Excellent communication skills and ability to learn and work independently when necessary.

About the role

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a full stack engineer to help us scale Plum.

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides.

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with Nodejs, React.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

Needs to be interested in gaming and/or tech. We will use their research skills to create SEO optimized guides and walkthroughs for various online portals.

• Understand the overall requirements of the product/platform and specifically for the assigned feature/module.
• Design and Develop Software as per the product architecture and requirements.
• Code and unit testing of the feature/modules including appropriate design reviews and code inspections.
• Ensure adherence to the software development processes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
• 6-10 years of experience in software development using J2EE technologies
• Experience with Core Java, JEE5 (JSP/JMS/Web Services/Servlets), Spring, Hibernate, REST, JBOSS/Tomcat Servers
• 1+ years of experience using Azure IOT technologies
• Work experience in Azure IoT Suite: IoT HUB, Azure TSI, DPS, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure KeyVault, MCI/AKS, Azure AD
• Knowledge in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge in ReactJS, JQuery is a plus
• Good knowledge in SQL -preferable
• Must have worked in agile/scrum environment
• Good understanding of software development processes, preferably for a regulated medical devices environment (ISO13485/FDA)
