Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Pre-Sales Consultant – Audio-Visual Solutions to join our growing team. The role involves designing and proposing end-to-end AV solutions for enterprise offices, boardrooms, auditoriums, training rooms, and large-scale AV deployments. You will work closely with the sales team and clients to deliver technically sound, value-driven AV solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
● Customer Engagement and Solution Design:
○ Act as a trusted AV advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and AV requirements.
○ Design and propose AV solutions (including video conferencing, projection/display, control systems, speakers, microphones, DSPs, etc.) tailored to customer environments
○ Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations of AV setups
○ Confidently attend virtual and in-person meetings with domestic and international clients
● Requirements Gathering and BOQ Preparation:
○ Gather AV-related requirements from clients for boardrooms, training rooms, huddle spaces, NOCs, and large venues
○ Translate technical needs into AV designs and create accurate BOQs
○ Prepare accurate and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project requirements.
○ Should be capable of generating BOQs from PDFs, AV drawings, or customer briefs
● Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge:
○ Strong knowledge of AV systems including video conferencing, control systems, signal routing, displays, speakers, mics, amplifiers, and integration.
○ Familiarity with OEMs like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Logitech, Shure, Poly, and others
○ Stay updated with AV industry trends and best practices
○ Must be technically very sound and know industry best practices and standards.
○ Provide technical support to the sales team during the entire sales cycle
● Sales Support and Collaboration:
○ Work with the sales team to strategize, plan, and win AV projects
○ Assist in preparing responses to RFPs, technical proposals, and client presentations
○ Collaborate with OEMs and system integrators to build winning solutions
● Certifications and Training:
○ Maintain relevant AV certifications and attend OEM training Should have valid OEM certifications.
○ Continuously upgrade knowledge through training and development programs
● Documentation and Design:
○ Create comprehensive documentation including AV schematics, layouts, and solution architecture
○ Proficiency in AutoCAD or Visio for AV design is preferred
● Travel and Customer Interaction:
○ Willing to travel at short notice to customer locations for meetings, site surveys, or workshops
○ Interface with architects, consultants, PMCs, and end clients
○ Attend industry trade shows, AV events, and conferences

Audio device and application- Biamp, QSC, Bose, Yamaha, Extron, Harman, BSS, Shure, Kramer, and Xilica device installation, configuration, and basic programming.
Video Switching device and application - Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Lightware, installation, and basic configuration.
Video End Display-Projector, video wall, and Active LED-Samsung, LG, Sharp NEC, Panasonic, Barco, Epson, and Sony.
Audiovisual over IP- Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Lightware, and ZeeVee
Dante/AES67 Audio over IP technology.
Control and graphics user interface Software -Crestron, Extron, Kramer,
Troubleshooting & Debugging: On-site and remote troubleshooting of control system code, networking issues, and hardware conflicts to ensure flawless system performance.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear, detailed programming notes, code comments, and system documentation for post-installation support and future upgrades.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and installation teams to ensure programming requirements are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
For Senior Programmers: Lead programming efforts on large-scale projects, mentor junior programmers, and contribute to pre-sales engineering and system design discussions.
Basic Knowledge of Computer Networking and IP address.
Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience
Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in AV control system programming for enterprise-level projects for MNC customers like Microsoft and Google.
Education: 3-year Diploma or bachelor’s degree (BSc/BE/B.Tech) in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications: Industry certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Extron Certified Programmer (ECP), Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, and Dante (Level 2/3)
Fluent in English & Hindi.
Willingness to put extra hours when required.
Be willing to travel across India on short notice to for project requirements (15-20%)

- Preparation of proposal based on the RFP / RFQ docs and Understand the CAD drawing.
- Generate BOQ, Compliance Statement, system descriptions, schematic drawings, material / technical submittal, system programming such as Crestron, Extron, Bose and other OEM products etc.
- Provide sales and technical staff with technical support on both a pre- and post-sales basis
- Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct or attend a Site visit and Site surveys when needed.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the equipment specified is correct for the installation.
· Produce system schematics including audio, video, control, power.
· Produce rack layouts.
· Design metalwork work such as input plates and wall boxes
· Work closely with the project managers and clients to ensure that all requirements specified are
accounted for.
· Communicate any site requirements such as IT and FM dependencies.
· Co-ordinate the production of M&E drawings with the CAD team
· Communicate required system functionality to the control system programmer.
· Liaise with 3rd party trades/subcontractors to ensure smooth integration.
· Test system racks to ensure they meet the requirements identifying and rectify faults prior to shipping.
· Commission equipment to the highest standard on site, including programming of audio DSP’s, setup
of digital video systems and setup of video conferencing systems.
· Provide technical support for the duration of the project.
Skills Required:
- Excellent technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment from all major brands.

Note: Since we are a media company, the role will require only media technical skills and you will be working on media technical operations. This role does not need any software testing or software production skills.
Primary Responsibilities
▪ To perform 100% linear watch-through for Audio, Video, & Subtitle content for a variety
of clients and formats (SD, Blu-ray, etc.) and ensure that these assets are free of any
errors.
▪ To carry out menu quality testing and functionality logic testing for a variety of clients.
▪ Report and document issues found using project-related checklists and internal
database.
▪ Communicating with offload units about project status, issues found, etc.
▪ Send daily updates of work to the team.
▪ Communicate and interact with the Production Manager, Authoring team, offloading
units, and associated departments regarding issues related to the project.
▪ Update OMS and time tracker on a project-to-project basis.

- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premier, or other video/audio SW a plus.
- Exposure to AV equipment and other home-entertainment hardware is a plus.
- Must be comfortable with a computer and in tune with the latest technologies.
- Understanding of graphics, imagery and sound specifications, such as colours,
resolution, audio glitches etc, a plus.
- A dedicated and well-rounded individual with the ability to work well under pressure as
part of a team with tight deadlines.
- A keen interest in media and multimedia is required.
- Good eyesight and no obvious hearing defects.
- Keen interest in working with different types of software and hardware is required.
- Desire to learn new concepts and cross-train with other departments.
- An ability to learn quickly and effectively.
