About the job
o Candidate will be in leading role to thoroughly understand client requirements and expedite functional and technical design for the overall planning solution; lead team of experienced and novice to deliver solutions meeting client expectations.
o Candidate must be well versed with Feedstock ranking (Indifference), Rolling Plans, Back-casting, configuration selection and plant debottlenecking studies, update of multi-period, multi-plant linear programming models.
o Candidate should have worked in Refinery and Petrochemical companies (in Production Planning, Technical Services division) and /or delivered Planning solution to Oil and Gas clients in consulting assignments.
o Candidate should have knowledge of refinery / petrochemicals plant configurations, their economics, blending operations, yield accounting, crude blending, product distribution, crude arrival sequencing.
Lead design development aligned with client requirements and project goals.
Develop space plans, design concepts, and material selections.
Prepare detailed interior drawings, layouts, and elevations.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and vendors.
Review and approve shop drawings as per design intent.
Develop specifications for materials and installation.
Manage FF&E selection and sourcing.
Prepare cost estimates and support budget management.

Requirements
- We are language and framework agnostic as long as you can pick up new technologies.

- Develop web applications and services using Spring Boot. Experience with Akka, Play, Flask, Django is welcome.
- Write automated tests with any of the frameworks. We measure success on how well your code is unit tested and integration tested.
- Advanced level understanding of RDMS systems, preferably Postgres. Working knowledge of non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra is helpful
- Able to use CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins etc. and create workflows and pipelines to release to production every other day.
- Expert level understanding of RESTful APIs, pagination, networking concepts around HTTP, thread pools, and other server-side concepts.
- Solid experience of how AWS services work. Some cloud services directly relevant are Lambda, EC2, S3, Dynamo, RDS, Eventbridge, SQS, ElastiCache Redis, Load Balancers etc.

Ideal Candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience; 2+ years as a product owner
- A Masters Degree (B.Tech+MBA is preferred)
- Strong experience in agile product development. A certification (Scrum/SAfe/PO) is preferred
- Expertise in Business documentation &translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Extensive experience working in a scrum/Kanban environment
- Extensive experience defining agile requirements (Epics/stories), including functional and technical in a product/services organization
