Your Role

At the level of lead engineer, you are seen as a natural leader by your peers. You have a deep experience in designing and building secure, scalable, applications for the web using .Net, AWS and SQL - a background working in financial services at enterprise scale is preferred. You live our design and development methodologies, understand our business. In this role you will be responsible for designing our global Digital Wealth platform product features , this includes core application functionality, API work as well as integrations with key partners. To complete development activities required to meet business requirements. Development activities should be completed within expected delivery dates and should adhere to all Invesco development standards. The ability to communicate with project managers and other IT professionals is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

•               Gather and analyze information on existing business processes in order to make recommendations that seek to improve business systems and processes.

•               Analyze and document requirements for enhancements to systems and / or business processes. May involve investigation of third party vendors or systems.

•               Clearly document solutions and recommendations to business problems.

•               Review requirements and designs with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and sign off of proposals.

•               Create cost and time estimates along with project plans to enable prioritization and execution of work.

•               Complete all tasks related to development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, reporting and system implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.

The Experience You Bring

·      8+ years technical leadership and architecture experience in software development

·      5+ years working in SQL-backed environments.

·      In depth knowledge of client side JavaScript frameworks like React and Redux

·      In depth knowledge of REST services(WCF, Web API, Microservices)
