Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• SDLC development of product features, enhancements, UAT/production issues.
• Work with development team members for development of product features.
• Client-side and server-side development.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and application.
• Write/ design product APIs and write unit test cases.
• Follow standard agile scrum practices for software development.
• Peer review, pull requests, code refactoring and managing source code per standards and ensure quality. 

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of software development experience using Microsoft .Net technology stack.
• Strong experience in .Net, .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, SQL server, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
• Experience in using unit test framework e.g., xUnit, Moq.
• Experience in Web API development.
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM development process.
• Good to have experience in Domain driven design development and Microservice architecture.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good to have knowledge and experience in ABP.IO framework, Angular 8+, PostgreSQL and AWS cloud service and CI/CD process.

Work with Business Analyst/end users to understand business requirements

2. Develop Prototype, Design documents.

3. Develop code in Java spring framework and Angular to meet requirements.

4. Involve in Testing cycle and track until the Production migration.

5. Follow Quality procedures and develop documents as per SDLC methodology.

6. Receiving support calls from MES Users and generation of tickets (manually or through system)

7. Resolution of the calls

8. Routing unresolved and higher level (L2 & L3) calls to central MES teams

9. Keeping track of SLAs

10. Maintaining ticket resolution track and Resolves change request also assigned time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle; determining design methodologies and toolsets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching.
• SADs (Senior application Developer ) maintain the job duties of a supervisor as well as a lower-level application developer These duties can include regular consultations with the Team concerning software, creating new programs, and testing newly installed programs to verify functionality.
• The managerial side of being a leader can include writing reports on team progress and presenting those reports to upper executive committees, per Coding standards. SADs also make executive-level standards decisions for their department, ensure company policies are being followed and counsel employees as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer sciences. Combining full - time academics degree with certification in computer languages and software programs could be an added advantage.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a leader with hands-on experience in programming languages such as Javascript, HTML, C++, PHP, Angular, Ajax, Rest Api, Node.Js, JQuery, MySQL, API Oath Integration, Shopify, Open Source app development, Social media Developer tool.

• Own our user interfaces with an eye to lightning-fast performance and a great user experience
• Implement compelling and intuitive UIs, shaping the design and feel of the product alongside our founders
• Write a significant amount of code for new and existing features
• Ship high-quality code and architecture
• Mentor engineers on the team, developing their skills and helping advance their careers
• Help shape the future of our engineering organization

Requirements

• You have been building production web applications for 5+ years and know the systems from top to bottom
• You know SQL and have significant programming experience on the frontend with React
• You have a BS/MS/Ph.D. in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• You want to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
• Comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, Slack, Zoom, etc. in the open and as a self-starter.

Bonus points

• You have backend experience building microservices
• You’ve contributed to open-source libraries and actively participate in the development community (blogging, meetups, tweeting, etc.)
• You have experience building interactive data visualizations
• You have worked in TypeScript, Java, Go
