About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join Tesco’s Security & Compliance team.

You will act as the bridge between Security stakeholders and the Database (DB) team, driving cross-functional programs, ensuring compliance with audit standards, and managing enterprise-scale initiatives in a fast-paced, large-matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between Security and Database teams for program execution.
• Translate security requirements into actionable tasks for engineering & DB teams.
• Own end-to-end program delivery – scope, timeline, quality.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and roadblocks proactively.
• Drive and support compliance & audit activities (e.g., with Deloitte).
• Track, monitor, and report program progress to senior leadership.
• Maintain governance documentation and ensure adherence to standards.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of total experience, 8+ years in Technical Program Management.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination within matrix environments.
• Strong understanding of security & database concepts.
• Exposure to IT security compliance/audit frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in managing audit cycles or acting as audit PoC.
• Excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in large enterprise environments (retail, e-commerce preferred).

Good to Have

• PMP / Prince2 / Scrum certification.
• Background in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or data governance.

Responsibilities:

* Build the APIs and internal mechanisms of the Trago backend across all our services.

* Architect and guide building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.

* Build and lead engineering teams to achieve product roadmap milestones.

Requirements:

* Bachelors in Computer Science or any Engineering domain with experience in Software Programming.

* 2-5 years of experience building large-scale software applications.
* Highly proficient with Java and knowledge of the many intricacies of Spring Boot.

* Proficient with MongoDB and Redis.

* Knowledge of Aerospike, and other databases would be a bonus. Good understanding of distributed systems (servers, databases, etc.).

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in installing, configuring and upgrading AAEP, POM, Speech solutions for global customers.
• Knowledge on integration of AAEP, POM, Speech servers with other adjunct and UC solutions.
• Well versed with Linux commands.
• Knowledge in deploying VMWare/OVA would be added advantage.
• Knowledge on Avaya product like CM, SM, SMGR, WebLM, Call center routing etc. would be added advantage.
• Installation, upgrade and integration AAEP, POM, Speech servers for global customers especially in USA.
• Testing and troubleshooting as required.
• Good planning & analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with global customers. Work under pressure and deliver on customer timelines.
• Implementation and testing will require to be done during customer approved maintenance windows in the respective countries or regions. Will require late night work during implementation & testing.
