Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in test automation for UI and API applications using JavaScript, Playwright, and Selenium.

This role requires a proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for quality assurance.

Mandatory Skills : Automation Testing, JavaScript or Java, Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, API Testing, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub), Git, Postman.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
• Design and implement test strategies for API and UI automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Drive improvements in automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reusability, and performance.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Work in an Agile environment with fast-paced iterations.
• Troubleshoot test failures and report defects effectively.
• Ensure high test coverage and generate actionable test reports and quality metrics.

Core Requirements :

• 5 to 8 Years of experience in automation testing.
• Minimum 3 to 5 Years in automation testing for both API and UI.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript or Java.
• Proficiency in automation tools : Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Rest Assured.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration and Git-based version control.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, debugging, and test reporting.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure).

Interview Process :

1. Round 1 – Online Technical Evaluation (1 hour)
2. Round 2 – Online Interview with the Indian Team (1 hour)
3. Round 3 – Online Interview with the U.S. Team (30 minutes)
4. Round 4 – Mandatory Face-to-Face Interview at Bangalore office (weekday only)

Strong Storyboarding Visualiser profile

Mandatory (Experience 1):Must have 2+ years of experience in designing/visualisation with experience in creating storyboards for animation, video, or marketing content

Mandatory (Experience 2):Must have experience in conceptualising visual stories, including interpreting scripts, briefs, or creative ideas into clear visual sequences

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience in client/team management, coordinating with designers, animators, copywriters, and clients to ensure creative deliverables meet brand and project standards.

Mandatory (Tech Skills 1): Must have knowledge of motion graphics and video editing, including tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent software, with an understanding of how storyboards translate into animation.

Mandatory (Tech Skills 2): Must have strong drawing and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to convey mood, movement, action, camera angles, transitions, and composition in both digital and traditional formats.

Mandatory (Portfolio): Strong portfolio/work samples showcasing storyboards, motion graphics, visual storytelling, or video/design projects. Portfolio should clearly demonstrate creativity, drawing ability, sequencing, and software proficiency.

As a Motion Designer, you are detail-oriented and understand how form influences function, can weave motion into interaction design, and simplify complexity. It’s your job to apply your passion for animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems.

What you will do:

• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, explainer videos, websites, marketing demos, etc.)
• Prepare storyboard for motion graphic project.
• Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
• Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
• Research and analyse best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.

Experience Range: 

Proven 3-4  years of work experience as a Motion Designer. Must have worked on digital marketing creatives. Having worked in the app product space is a huge plus. 

Technical Expertise:

• Portfolio of work demonstrating command of Motion Design.
• Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined output in a short time.
• Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast evolving environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, After effects, Premiere and Animate.
• BS/MS in Motion Design/ Visual Design/ Graphic Design is a plus.

• Designing and building infrastructure to support AWS, Azure, and GCP-based Cloud services and infrastructure.
• Creating and utilizing tools to monitor our applications and services in the cloud including system health indicators, trend identification, and anomaly detection.
• Working with development teams to help engineer scalable, reliable, and resilient software running in the cloud.
• Participating in on-call escalation to troubleshoot customer-facing issues
• Analyzing and monitoring performance bottlenecks and key metrics to optimize software and system performance.

• This position involves testing activities of all phases of software development life cycle and the development of GUI automated tests for end-to-end testing of a Business-to-Business web application that spans Front Office (website) and Back Office (Linux) implementations. The successful candidate will be working closely in a team environment with product development engineers and quality assurance to create automated acceptance, functional, smoke tests and performance tests.
• Ownership of the entire test cycle for an Agile team, including story decomposition and sizing, test and test automation approach, test plans and objective creation, testing.
• Maintaining test suites and test tools, test environment setup, defect management, test execution and test reporting.
