Looking for a passionate and creative multitasker who is a ‘Pet Enthusiast' for the role of a “Features/Articles Writer’ for our upcoming web platform. The role description is as follows: Write awesome feature stories/articles/blogs , that are SEO Compliant on topics such as Pets, Animals, Birds, Wildlife etc. Ideate for stories, follow latest happenings, trends in the above said domain and create written form of content on those. Arrange and conduct interviews of relevant stakeholders in the Pet Industry. Take real photographs if and when need arises Provide factual data through quality research to the design team Help us with unique strategies for marketing and brand awareness campaigns for both online and offline platforms with awesome content. The above mentioned responsibilities are not exhaustive, so be ready for some related task add ons. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills/qualities: Please Note: It is a new team for an upcoming brand we are building and you will be the first member of it. So seeking individuals who can take up such a challenge and grow both the brand and their skill sets. · Preferably from a publishing or journalism background. · Sound knowledge and extreme levels of passion on topics relating to especially Pets & Wildlife (Animals, Birds & related life forms). · A Social Media Addict (Yup seeking an individual who is very active on social networking platforms with lots of friends/followers/connections on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.). · Flawless Communication, Language and Editing Skills (No Grammatical, Spelling and Punctuation errors please). · Good in capturing Images (We don’t expect you to carry a DSLR, a quality smartphone capture would do). · ‘Versatile’ style of writing is the need of the hour · Someone with a creative bent of mind and with a tinge of sarcasm is a huge temptation for us. · A Content Research Scientist, great at researching about trending/ latest topics to create content on. · Good Copywriting skills would be an added advantage · Task oriented and professional in meeting deadlines. · Zealous about the role and working in a startup environment. · To end it all, one of the most clichéd statement, “Be Original” (We mean Both the Content and You).
