Visual Designer/Senior Visual Designer - Mobile & Web Design

Position : Senior Visual Designer / Visual Designer Location: Pune, Bangalore (4+ years of relevant experience in Visual design (mobile application, web design,tablet design with clear leadership skills - excellent communication, able to drive meetings, stakeholder discussions and deliver designs.) YUJ Designs is seeking a Visual Design Expert to work within its User Experience Design (UXD) discipline to delivery of quality and scalable products that support a successful user experience and exceed customers- business goals. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Applicants must have substantial experience creating or redesigning scalable visual systems for websites, mobile, mobile web and handheld systems like iPad and tab. Responsibilities : - Work independently with the client (multiple stakeholders) and YUJ Designs - User Experience Strategist to diagnose business and users needs - Understand trends to evolve visual design strategies that befit customers- business goals, branding and UX goals. - With exceptional attention to details - design a robust visual system that represents highest levels of quality (wow factor), efficiency, consistency, scalability and innovation. - Create standards, style guides, specification documents to support visual design system that gets delivered to the customer - Understand design issues concerning cross-platform applications (websites, applications, mobile, mobile web and handheld devices like iPad and tabs). - Manage communication at all levels and project deliverables Job Requirements : - Candidates must be high-level thinkers that can dive deep into a specific design challenge and come up with alternative solutions that are not only usable but have a wow factor. - They must have experience working successfully within interdisciplinary project teams and collaborating with business units, product managers, interaction designers, user researchers, content managers and prototype engineers. - They must prove mastery of visual design principles as they apply to the creation of largescale web user interfaces, and practical knowledge of user centered design methodologies. Candidates must have working knowledge of information architecture, and interaction design principles. - The Senior Designer must be a clear and effective presenter in order to influence important decision makers across the company and maintain credibility for the User Experience and Design group. - Candidates need to be organized, have excellent time management skills and be highly detail oriented. They must be able to manage their own time in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders. - Need to work closely with the backend development team to ensure your design gets translated well as a final product.
