Job Description

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our mobile development team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
• Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect mobile interfaces
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, stability, and scalability
• Implement state management using Redux, Context API, or other libraries
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and performance issues
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Publish and maintain apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in React Native
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React Hooks and Functional Components
• Experience with Redux / Context API
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX guidelines

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be involved in directly driving application of machine learning and AI to solve various product and business problems including ML model lifecycle management with ideation, experimentation, implementation, and maintenance.

• Your responsibilities will include enabling the team in moving forward with ML/AI solutions to optimise various components across our music streaming platforms.

• Your work would be impacting millions of users the way they consume music and podcasts, it would involve solving cold start problems, understanding user personas, optimising ranking and improving recommendations for serving relevant content to users.

• We are looking for a seasoned engineer to orchestrate our recommendations and discovery projects and also be involved in tech management within the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

• 13+ years of industry experience doing applied machine learning

• 5+ years of experience in tech team management

• Fluent in one or more object oriented languages like Python, C++, Java

• Knowledgeable about core CS concepts such as common data structures an algorithms

• Comfortable conducting design and code reviews

• Comfortable in formalising a product or business problem as a ML problem

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

• Industry experience with large scale recommendation and ranking systems

• Experience in managing team of 10-15 engineers

• Hands on experience with Spark, Hive, Flask, Tensorflow, XGBoost, Airflow

Data engineers:

Designing and building optimized data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies in a cloud environment to drive analytical insights.This would also include develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity

Constructing infrastructure for efficient ETL processes from various sources and storage systems.

Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Business Managers to design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

Leading the implementation of algorithms and prototypes to transform raw data into useful information.

Architecting, designing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures, ensuring readiness for AI/ML transformations.

Creating innovative data validation methods and data analysis tools.

Ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies.

Interpreting data trends and patterns to establish operational alerts.

Developing analytical tools, utilities, and reporting mechanisms.

Conducting complex data analysis and presenting results effectively.

Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.

Continuously exploring opportunities to enhance data quality and reliability.

Applying strong programming and problem-solving skills to develop scalable solutions.

6 to 8 years of hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and owning scalable, resilient, and distributed data pipelines.

High proficiency in Scala/Java/ Python API frameworks/ Swagger and Spark for applied large-scale data processing.

Expertise with big data technologies, API development (Flask,,including Spark, Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Hive.

Solid understanding of batch and streaming data processing techniques.

Proficient knowledge of the Data Lifecycle Management process, including data collection, access, use, storage, transfer, and deletion.

Expert-level ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries across extensive data volumes.

Experience with RDBMS and OLAP databases like MySQL, Redshift.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

DB developer 

This position is for Oracle Golden Gate developer and DBA position. The Candidate will implement and support Oracle Golden Gate replication components across many databases. Working closely with many application teams and implementing near real time replications with golden gate. Candidate should provide operational support as well.

Roles and responsibilities :

Configure and build Golden Gate Extracts/replicate for multiple databases.

Configure error handling for restart, logging, production support and status reporting in Golden Gate.

Identify and produce documentation of best practices.

Trouble shooting and performance tuning Golden Gate replications.

Implementing necessary monitoring scripts for Golden Gate in UNIX/PERL scripting
