Sr. Front End Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in Angular/React, RxJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6+
• Apply strong logical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals
• Communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders
• Work with a comprehensive frontend stack, including JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS, jQuery, AJAX, and RESTful services
• Must-have: Experience with API integrations (RESTful) and state management (Redux/Thunk for React, Services/State Management for Angular)
• Enhance existing web and mobile-based application interfaces and design new ones to meet business requirements
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) with unit testing using Jasmine and end-to-end testing using Karma
• Develop reusable components for consistent functionality across applications
• Collaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIs
• Migrate existing functionalities to Angular Material UI or other React/Angular-based UI frameworks
• Establish and maintain frontend development standards (coding, testing, performance optimization)
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain consistent graphic standards and branding throughout the product interface
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive functional requirements and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in React OR Angular and RxJS
• Must-have: Hands-on experience with API integrations (RESTful services)
• Extensive experience with TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, and version control (Git, Git branch management, best practices)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma
• Solid understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/SCSS, AJAX, and RESTful services
• Experience with building tools like Grunt and Gulp
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the frontend components of the Camera AI and gym & trainer management software.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional, responsive web applications.
• Ensure the applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement user interfaces that provide a seamless experience, including real-time data visualization, interactive elements, and responsive design.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and performance of the applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and apply them to enhance our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with responsive design principles and front-end optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with WebRTC or other real-time communication technologies.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

Technical Skills: (must have)

• Excellent Angular 5+, NodeJS, Typescript programming skills

• Strong HTML/HTML5/JavaScript skills
• Sound understanding of MVC, MVVM, JSON, and data binding

• Hands-on experience with implementing Angular best practices (e.g. project structure, module organisation, naming convention, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with Web APIs (e.g. HTTP protocols, AJAX and REST)

• Hands-on experience of using browser events and various data types like arrays and objects, JSON, forms, closures and modules, including the use of debugging tools

• Hands-on with CSS3 and sound understanding of cross browser inconsistencies and responsive frameworks

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key accountability of Sr.FED will be to plan, develop, maintain and optimise codebase for web app and browser extensions of MyLOFT.

• Planning and Development
• Design Planning of the functional App in coordination with software development team
• Develop and Deliver front-end applications and browser extensions

• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
