Senior Software Engineer- Testing

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our investment planning, project analysis, and company growth strategy. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in investment firms, banking, corporate strategy, or consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new projects and prepare financial models, ROI, and feasibility reports.

• Support investor meetings, funding discussions, and due diligence.

• Prepare business plans, pitch decks, and financial projections.

• Identify growth opportunities and drive company expansion strategies.

• Coordinate with internal teams to monitor project execution and KPIs.

1. Investment Planning & Evaluation

• Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects and expansion initiatives.

• Build detailed financial models, ROI calculations, and risk analysis for investment decisions.

• Prepare investment proposals, valuation reports, and pitch decks for investors.

2. Funding & Investor Coordination

• Support leadership in meetings with investors, banks, and funding agencies.

• Coordinate due diligence materials, business plans, financial projections, and compliance documents.

• Evaluate various funding options (Equity, Debt, Grants, Strategic Investors).

Requirements

• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.

• Strong skills in investment analysis, valuation, financial modelling & strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

● Own the architecture and roadmap for scalable, secure, and high-quality data pipelines

and platforms.

● Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while establishing engineering best practices,

coding standards, and governance models.

● Design and implement high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using modern Big Data

technologies for diverse internal and external data sources.

● Drive modernization initiatives including re-architecting legacy systems to support

next-generation data products, ML workloads, and analytics use cases.

● Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate requirements into

robust technical solutions that align with organizational priorities.

● Champion data quality, monitoring, metadata management, and observability across the

ecosystem.

● Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency, data delivery SLAs, automation, and

infrastructure scalability.

● Provide technical leadership on data modeling, orchestration, CI/CD for data workflows,

and cloud-based architecture improvements.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field.

● 8+ years of relevant and recent experience in a Data Engineer role.

● 5+ years recent experience with Apache Spark and solid understanding of the

fundamentals.

● Deep understanding of Big Data concepts and distributed systems.

● Demonstrated ability to design, review, and optimize scalable data architectures across

ingestion.

● Strong coding skills with Scala, Python and the ability to quickly switch between them with

ease.

● Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with a variety of relational

databases such as Postgres and/or MySQL.

● Cloud Experience with DataBricks.

● Strong understanding of Delta Lake architecture and working with Parquet, JSON, CSV,

and similar formats.

● Experience establishing and enforcing data engineering best practices, including CI/CD

for data, orchestration and automation, and metadata management.

● Comfortable working in an Agile environment

● Machine Learning knowledge is a plus.

● Demonstrated ability to operate independently, take ownership of deliverables, and lead

technical decisions.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

● Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic

environment.

REPORTING: This position will report to Sr. Technical Manager or Director of Engineering as

assigned by Management.

Skills And Qualifications

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance (depending on the specific project)
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
• Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)

• Get involved in the entire customer lifecycle from on-boarding through the duration of their subscription period 
• Provide product training to enable the customers to realize the potential of the company
• Identify product usage gaps and provide actionable solutions to the customers 
• Build value-based relationships with customers and create company champions 
• Conduct Strategic Business Reviews (EBRs and QBRs) to understand customer lifecycle milestones, communicate the value of our product, showcase ROI, 
• Drive desired customer outcomes through a consultative approach 
• Ensure customer retention by negotiating and closing renewals 
• Identify opportunities of upselling and cross-selling along with the Account Managers 
• Identify appropriate business use cases where the company can be deployed 
• Establish deployment goals and desired success outcomes and then develop a plan to carry them out successfully 
• Have a strong business sense to keep looking out for new use cases and solutions using a company to create a win-win situation with customers 
• Communicate and brain-storm with the product team on customer feedback and help refine product roadmap 
• Work with the marketing team to execute customer surveys, case studies, etc 
• Identify and Process Success milestones for the customers 
• Optimize existing processes within the company and actively enhance all Customer Success initiatives 
• Drive customer advocacy through reviews, testimonials, customer meetups; and create a center of excellence within the customer's organization 

Our ideal Customer Success Manager: 

• Has relevant 3 to 7 years of work experience (CSM - 3 to 5 yrs; Sr CSM - 4 to 6 yrs; Lead or Principal CSM - More than 7 yrs)  in a high-touch Customer Success / Strategic Consulting role in a B2B SaaS or Tech Product based company 
• Being an organization that believes in a flat hierarchy, we have only 1 people manager per region for the CS team and everyone else, including those with 15+ yrs of Customer Facing experience add value to the company and its customers in the capacity of an individual contributor 
• Should be open to aligning with the US / EU time zone (5 PM to 2:00 AM / 1 PM to 10 PM IST). Note - The company does provide free lunch + dinner, and a cab drop facility with an additional allowance for the ones working in the US time zone.
