Opening for PHP and Node js Developer

We are looking for a Back-End Developer with 18 months to 36 months of relevant experience who is ready to work with our CTO directly for a variety of projects. You will work on the end-to-end process of design, development, testing & deployment of our image and video optimization products that handle billions of requests every day. Your projects will vary from open source tools development to building new revenue-critical functionality in our core products. You will also be tasked with feature improvements and possible maintenance of existing products from time to time. 

• Experience in Node.js Frameworks
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Socket IO, ExpressJS & SailsJS
• Experience working with third-party developer tools, including documentation, APIs, and SDKs
• Good Grasp of Asynchronous Programming and Its Workarounds
• Database Schema design for Business Processes
• Working Knowledge of JWT-based passport Authentication
• Can Write and Refactor Efficient Codes
• Experience in Implementing Data Protection
• Must have demonstrated the ability to deliver high-quality products on time
• Knowledge of GIT, SVN technology

Requirements:
Should have Excellent Experience of Node.js.
In-Depth knowledge of Express Js, JavaScript, TypeScript,
Should have experience in MongoDB, My SQL, GraphQL and any graph Database
Experience working with REST APIs, and Sockets.
Ability to Identify and fix production and non-production application issues as a part of the deployment.
Good Knowledge of AWS - Beanstalk, Cloud Watch.
Good to have Agile/JIRA/ Continuous Deployment experience.
Good Knowledge of JSON, API, and JWT
Ability and willingness to manage multiple projects/tasks.
Basic Understanding of HTML5, CSS.

Duties And Responsibilities

Coding backend for a stock analysis platform in Nodejs. You don’t.t need any experience or understanding of stocks for this position.
Nodejs - candidate must have good experience working with Nodejs and have a deep understanding of space -time complexity for writing optimized code in typescript
Typescript- candidate must know typescript and have good experience with it.
MongoDB and PostgreSQL - candidate must have experience working with both technologies. understanding of both technologies and designing scalable and optimized database structures

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Tech/Team Lead, and the rest of the engineering team to build and scale a data-driven platform.

This role will act as a great springboard to accelerate career growth & transition into a Lead level role.

Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, building new services and APIs, developing UI components, supporting the maintenance of current APIs, reviewing work, and improving the performance and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organization

• An effective Senior Software Engineer will be a self-motivated learner; a highly creative engineer having obsessive attention towards detail and thoroughness.
• You’ve been building web applications professionally for 4+ years
• You’re proficient in NodeJS, TypeScript, MySQL, and MongoDB
• You possess strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
• Familiar with modern engineering practices: Code Reviews, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc
• You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and experience with TDD (Test Driven Development)
• You’ve got the ability to build RESTful APIs
• Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support team, and fellow engineers is not a problem for you
• Well versed with the fundamentals of computer science and distributed systems
• FrontEnd experience; (Good to have) Angular

● Experience designing & developing distributed systems involving multiple web services, databases (both SQL and NoSQL), caches, queues, etc. taking into consideration scalability, availability, fault tolerance, consistency, etc. of the overall system
● Well-aware of and enforces development best practices: Unit Tests, Code Reviews,
Integration Tests, CI/CD, Monitoring, Alerting, etc

The core APIs are written in Node.js The distributed message queue (Kafka) and compute engine (Storm) are implemented in Java. Understanding of Angular 2 is a big plus as our Web app is built on the same. NON TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES We are a startup. This means that: You will be expected to be someone who comes up with solutions instead of problems. You will be expected to work non stop including weekends if the servers crash. But otherwise we are quite chill! You will be expected to talk to multiple stakeholders customers, designer, client side developer to achieve user and business needs. A high aptitude and a positive attitude are a must You should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team. We are a lean team right now, with you as the only server developer (assisted by the folks who built the platform) JOB LOCATION You would be working out of our office in Pune. You may be required to travel occasionally to Mumbai or Bangalore to interact with some other team members.
