We are on the lookout for a Customer Support Representative, who will be the face of our company in terms of making advocates out of our end-users who are using our platform to organise their events. 

Location: Remote/Work from Home

What winning in this role looks like:

• Strengthen client relationship by being the go-to-person for client challenges relating to the platform
• Manage customer service inquiries and technical issues through clear communication to keep track of support tickets and status 
• Train and guide customers with the on-boarding process on Gevme
• Acts as the "Voice of the Customer" by providing feedback to the development team on customer pain points
• Establish great relationships with internal stakeholders (Project, Product, Sales etc.) to achieve customers' goals
• Remain positive in challenging scenarios and inspire internal partners to do great work
• Assist Professional Services Team with ongoing customer deliverables if assigned 
• Act as Coordinator for long-term DIY users for specific ad-hoc requirements 
• Maintain the Support Portal with articles that will help with the client on-boarding process
• Post periodic best practices articles to help provide useful tips to our clients and users

You should:

• Have a technical background with knowledge of HTML / CSS / JS / jQuery and ideally Reactjs
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong understanding of client requests
• Possess a can-do attitude who loves to interact with clients both face-to-face as well as online
• Have a general understanding of the online space, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
• Love to read up on anything online, be it social media, technological trends or the latest marketing techniques.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in IT or equivalent in computer sciences 
• Strong communication skills, who excel in managing clients face-to-face or online
• Past experience in front-facing function such as Account Management, or Customer Support roles 
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Customer Support-related roles
• Independent, highly-motivated and results-driven, able to thrive under pressure while taking pride in customer delight
• Excellent interpersonal skills with positive outlook
• Experience with any other event management and support tools a huge plus point
• HTML / CSS / JS / jQuery + ideally Reactjs (bonus)

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect & Design

• ○ Define and maintain service architecture in Go and Node.js, ensuring scalability, resilience, and low latency.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of comprehensive Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and maintain an up-to-date data model library.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of 5–10 backend engineers (“maverick” talent), fostering collaboration, autonomy, and ownership.
• Conduct regular code reviews, design discussions, and performance feedback sessions.

3. AI/ML Integration

• Collaborate with Data Science and ML engineers to integrate OpenAI models (e.g., GPT-4) for features like smart audio transcription, summarization, and recommendation.
• Work with DataStax (Cassandra) or similar NoSQL systems to power low-latency user analytics and AI inference pipelines.

4. Delivery & Quality

• Establish and enforce best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, performance benchmarking, and observability (metrics, logs, tracing).
• Own SLA/SLOs and incident response processes, driving rapid root-cause analysis and post-mortems.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with Product, UX, and DevOps to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and deliver on tight timelines.
• Evangelize backend and data architecture decisions across the engineering organization.

Must-Have Qualifications

● Technical Expertise:

1. 6+ years backend experience with Go and Node.js, building microservices in production.
2. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectures.

• Data Modeling:

1. Proven ability to author and maintain ERD documents, relational and NoSQL schema design (PostgreSQL, DataStax Cassandra).

● Team Leadership:

1. 2+ years managing high-performance engineering teams, with a track record of growing and mentoring “maverick” engineers.

● AI/ML Integration:

1. Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models, preferably OpenAI APIs or
2. custom ML pipelines, into backend systems

● Operational Excellence:

1. Strong background in designing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS/GCP).

Nice-to-Have

● Experience with GraphQL or real-time streaming architectures (WebSockets).

● Familiarity with large-language‐model fine-tuning and hosting on infrastructure like AWS SageMaker or Azure ML.

● Background in user-centric analytics and personalization algorithms.

● Open source contributions in Go or Node.js ecosystems.

CTC: 7 LPA - 9 LPA

Job Requirement: 
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, procedures and QA documentation. Design, develop and maintain test cases.
• Work closely with onsite team & client on Application Support, Maintenance & Implementation tasks.
• Must be able to perform detailed analysis from logs, Query results for an issue reported
• Must be willing to work work in Shift Environment including night shifts and in 24x7 mode, even on Public Holidays as per roaster setup.
• Ready to travel on client site (even on short notice)
• Have sound knowledge about at least one Incident Management system/application.
• Can able to work as an individual contributor and within team as well
• Maintain relevant status reports, in timely manner
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, self-driven, strong interpersonal skills

Desired Candidate Profile:
• IT Graduate
• 3-5 years of technical experience in Application Support, Maintenance & Implementation projects, on a complex environment.
• Recent 2 years of experience in Logistics (Shipping) industry, preferably. Knowledge of Container port Operations is Preferrable
