Job Title: Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Exp: 6 – 9 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Consultant with expertise in solution designing, proposal crafting, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial industry, experience with budget spent analysis, and the ability to identify market trends. A solid delivery background and a bit of technical expertise are preferred, though no hands-on development or programming experience is required. This role will involve collaborating with our sales and delivery teams to deliver the right solutions to address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Work closely with sales and delivery teams to design customized solutions that meet client requirements and align with their business objectives.
• Proposal Development: Craft compelling and detailed proposals that clearly communicate the value of Wissen’s solutions, highlighting our technical capabilities and service offerings.
• Market and Industry Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, especially within the financial sector, and understand customer challenges and potential opportunities.
• Budget and Spend Analysis: Analyze budget spending patterns and provide insights to ensure solutions are both cost-effective and aligned with customer budgets.
• Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers to understand their business problems, pain points, and technology requirements. Propose solutions that address these challenges, leveraging Wissen’s strengths.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, and technical teams) to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution.
• Financial Industry Focus: Keep up-to-date with trends in the financial services industry to tailor solutions that address evolving market needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or delivery roles.
• Strong background in solution design and crafting winning proposals for clients.
• Experience conducting market analysis and identifying industry trends, especially in the financial sector.
• Ability to perform budget spent analysis and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams.
• Experience in working closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and customer expectations.
• Technical background (preferred) to understand solution requirements but no need for hands-on development or programming expertise.

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop.

Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary

• Design and code features for the website application as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design teams.
• Ship features in fast-moving agile sprints.
• Work closely with Backend, Product Design, and Product Management teams to brainstorm and chalk out details of features.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion

Must have:

• Good understanding of Javascript and Clean architecture.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, callback, and closures.
• Strong experience with Javascript frontend framework/libraries like ReactJS
• Understanding of stateless application
• Good knowledge of CSS and its pre-processors like SASS/LESS
• Good understanding of server-side templates.
• Experience with creating cross-browser compatible web apps
• Should be Strong in MySql / Postgres database.
• Stronghold in Data structure and processing JSON

Good to have

• Basic knowledge of CI, CD
• Intermediate knowledge in any cloud services(AWS, GCP)

• Strong working experience in IOS application development is a must. First-hand experience of native mobile apps using Swift must.
• Experience with Swift, RxSwift, Swift UI, Unit test.
• Strong system design and architecture skills - specifically for IOS. Curiosity to tinker around, explore new paradigms and strongest for continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of network connections, Rest API'sand scheduling. Strong knowledge about security standards (e.g. HTTPS) and privacy standards.
• Idea/experience of the unit and instrumentation testing in IOS. Optimizing app performance and memory consumption.
• Leveraging community libraries to efficiently complete development tasks.
• Debugging apps using simulators and related tooling.
• Persisting data for offline-first apps using databases such as Realm.
• Localizing apps to support multiple languages and regions, vernacular libraries and fonts.
• Familiar with Version control system such as GIT.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals
• Manage daily support and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
• Interact directly with clients, managers and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal Salesforce instances
• Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow
• Collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure the Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance
• Contribution towards building the salesforce practice and pre-sales

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Minimum work experience: 6-15 years of software development
• Self-motivated and creative
• Proficient with Salesforce basics, Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, RDBMS and JavaScript
• Experience in multi-system integration
• Experience in source code control

Preferred:

• Salesforce Developer Certification – Platform developer 1 & 2
• Experience developing customer-facing applications
• Experience in Salesforce community development
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Development using Standard Salesforce and Force.com platform (Lightning, Apex, Triggers, Workflow rules, VF pages)
• Sales and Service Cloud including Customer and Partner portal(community) development experience.
• Working knowledge of force.com sites will be an advantage. Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.com Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support required.
