What you will do
We are currently seeking experienced and talented reporters for our ferrous scrap, non-ferrous scrap, and steel markets to join our growing editorial team. The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in a direct or transferable area of expertise. As a Reporter/Editor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our commitment to delivering accurate and comprehensive market intelligence to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing and Reporting: Generate insightful and engaging content by reporting on the ferrous and non-ferrous markets, providing in-depth analysis, market reports, and commentary as assigned.
- Price Sourcing and Indexing: Contribute to the creation of proprietary price indexes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date pricing information. Write weekly or daily commentaries on pricing trends.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research into market trends and dynamics, delivering market reports that provide valuable insights to our readers.
- Adherence to Best Practices: Follow the Davis Index style guide and adhere to industry best practices in reporting and price sourcing.

Role Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and performance of our customer-facing platform. You will work closely with DevOps, DBA, and Development teams to provision and maintain infrastructure, deploy and monitor our applications, and automate workflows.
