
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. You will also assist end-users with technical support and work on projects that improve our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and desktop environments.
- Monitor system performance and availability using appropriate tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Assist with backups, patch management, and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide support to end-users for issues related to systems, software, and hardware.
- Work with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support and procurement.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades and migration projects.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure administration (more for senior roles).
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
