Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. You will also assist end-users with technical support and work on projects that improve our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and desktop environments.
- Monitor system performance and availability using appropriate tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Assist with backups, patch management, and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide support to end-users for issues related to systems, software, and hardware.
- Work with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support and procurement.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades and migration projects.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure administration (more for senior roles).
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Team – Currently with close to 100 FTE`s ,Gieom is expanding fast with offices in Bangalore, Dubai and Kochi with plan to add additional offices in Mumbai and Lucknow during the year. Currently we work on a hybrid model with employees operating from offices and online.
Role – Banking Consultants are expected to read and understand banking procedure documents and convert the same to flow diagrams using Gieom’s Digital BluePrint software.
One week in person training will be provided on process mapping best practices and Gieom’s Digital BluePrint software

Responsibility post training period:
· Part of project teams that are responsible for converting writtten procedure documents to flow diagrams
· Liaison with various departments of the client and understanding the current way of working and create flow diagrams
· Working closely with Pre Sales Team, Product Teams and end clients to understand requirement, helping with POC and ensuring client satisfaction.
· Work alongside the Product teams to understand new features
Ideal Candidate
- Bankers ( Preferably women) who have taken a break from Banking Career and considering a come back to work
- Qualification bachelors/MBA/CA/MMS/Diploma – No constraint
- Ready to come on-board immediate

Should be aware of the latest trends, technologies, and tools available to them to help manage projects effectively.
Should be able to prioritize tasks, delegate work, and coordinate team members in order to complete projects on time and within budget.
Must ensure communication between all stakeholders is up-to-date, timely, and accurate.
Must develop strong relationships with vendors, clients, or other external partners
Must manage project risks and issues that could arise, and conduct proper risk management practices.
Should monitor progress throughout the life cycle of the project, provide feedback, and take corrective action where necessary.
Should work cross-functionally with the larger team to lead individual project teams to solve problems, enhance services, and deliver a top-notch customer experience through program project execution.
1.4. Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5-years of experience successfully managing projects
Information technology, software, and/or systems project leadership experience
Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance across milestones
Ability to lead large and diverse teams exercising strong leadership and soft skills
Outstanding analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Facilitation skills and team leadership skills
Experience with client impact analysis; communication positioning, design, and delivery
Ability to work under pressure; exceptional time management skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
