Job Title : Backend Developer (Node.js or Python/Django)

Experience : 2 to 5 Years

Location : Connaught Place, Delhi (Work From Office)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer (Node.js or Python/Django) to join our in-house engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js or Python/Django.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs including third-party Authentication APIs (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Work with data stores like Redis and Elasticsearch to support caching and search features.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.

Required Skills :

• 2 to 5 Years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python (Django framework).
• Solid understanding and experience with Authentication APIs.
• Experience with Redis and Elasticsearch for caching and full-text search.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and best practices.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Must have completed at least 2 end-to-end backend projects.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Role & responsibilities

• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Minimum 5-12 Years of Core Java Programming with Collections Framework, Concurrent Programming, Multi-threading (Good knowledge in Executor service, Forkjoin pool and other threading concepts)
• Good knowledge of the JVM with an understanding of performance and memory optimization.
• Extensive and expert programming experience in JAVA programming language (strong OO skills preferred).
• Excellent knowledge on collections like, Array List, Vector, LinkedList, Hashmap, HashTable, HashSet is mandate.
• Exercised exemplary development practices including design specification, coding standards, unit testing, and code-reviews.
• Expert level understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and Data Structures
• Good experience in Database (Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server) like indexing (clustered, non clustered), hashing, segmenting, data types like clob / blob, views (materialized), replication, constraints, functions, triggers, procedures etc.

Responsibilities

• Will design & build property and casualty Insurance product using Duck Creek tool • Document technical / solution approach

• Will perform Coding, Unit Testing and Code Review In Duck Creek platform • Coach and help team members for their delivery Technical Expertise

• Must have deep understanding of Duck Creek Claim Administration System configuration.

• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into manuscript inheritance and group structure, including design of technical components.

• Experienced in Manuscript Coding & Configuration using Author, Product Studio, Express, Server and User Admin.

• Hands on experience in Claims Desktop, Console modules, Party Module, Task Creation, Claim Configuring, Extension and Advanced Extension points, Auto Reserves,

• Integration and configuration with Claim related third party

• Experience with SQL Server, customizing and Debugging SQL store, Triggers, User defined Functions / Types, Cursors and XQueries.

• Hands on development experience in Microsoft .NET including C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server

• Must be experienced in DCT debugging Tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, TSV Monitor and Data Tester).

• Must have XML and XSLT programing experience

• Must have working experience in Duck Creek product versions 4.x , 5.x, 6.x, 7.x Or latest Professional Attributes

• Should have good communication and team building skill

• Good to have knowledge in Insurance

• Ability to work in a team environment which will include but is not limited coaching team, help to fix issues,

• Full knowledge of software development life cycle using Agile methodology

SF developer with PD1 certification

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Should have develop professional applications in PHP using CodeIgniter.
• Additional advantage if worked on frameworks like Laravel and Zend
• Extensive knowledge with JavaScript, jQuery or Angular
• Advance Level SQL knowledge
• Additional advantage if familiar with Server Configuration and Monitoring
• Should have working on Git Repository
• Candidate should have exceptionally good debugging skills.

Job Description :

1. A cloud engineer is responsible for the design, review of architectures & construction of cloud service provider environments.
2. Duties, and Responsibilities may include the following:
3. §  Responsible for the evaluation of cloud strategy and program architecture
4. §  Responsible for gathering system requirements working together with application architects and owners
5. §  Responsible for generating scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources
6. §  Discover standard cloud services offerings, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings
7. §  Build software for the organization’s systems and ES as a service offering
8. §  Stay well-informed of failures and complications related to a cloud offering
9. §  Responsible for debugging technical issues inside a complex stack involving virtualization, containers, microservices, etc.
10. §  Collaborate with the engineering teams to enable their applications to run on Cloud infrastructure.
11. §  Experience with OpenStack, Linux, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, NoSQL etc.

A qualified applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of at least some of the following:

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or in other related technical field. In addition to educational qualification, they should possess at least 3-5years IT experience with cloud operations and systems administration

Knowledge Needed-

• A cloud engineer must have adept technical skills and cognate experience to be hired. 
• Practical object-oriented development knowledge with at least Scala or Java, knowledge of systems like ZooKeeper, Consul etc., familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Pivotal Cloud Foundry Docker, OpenStack, and Public cloud delivery know-how with AWS and/or Azure
• understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages and tools; Java, Python, Ruby, .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, and ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP)
• Part of the daily tasks of a Cloud Engineer is to work with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, and Business Analysts), so it is vital that they can work in a team-driven environment
• Cloud technologies become advanced over time, so an essential ingredient that most recruiters look out for in cloud engineers is their willingness to learn and work with new and emerging technologies.

  Certification

• Microsoft Azure – 70-533, 70-535 any other infrastructure certification is added advantage.
• Should have relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect is added advantage
