Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Android AOSP / Framework Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Android platform development, AOSP customization, HAL integration, and system-level debugging. The ideal candidate should have solid experience working across Android Framework, native layers, hardware interfaces, and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Android Framework and AOSP components.
• Design and implement custom Android System Services.
• Develop, integrate, and debug HAL components and hardware/platform interfaces.
• Work with AIDL, HIDL, Binder IPC, JNI, and native Android services.
• Develop and debug platform-level features using C/C++ and Java.
• Perform AOSP customization, platform enhancements, and Android version upgrades.
• Work with UART, CAN, UDS, and CAN TP communication protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot SELinux/SEPolicy, including AVC denials.
• Debug and resolve issues related to the Android Build System.
• Perform system-level debugging and root-cause analysis across framework, native, and hardware layers.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android Framework and AOSP architecture.
• Hands-on experience with HAL, Binder IPC, AIDL/HIDL, JNI, and Android System Services.

Key Responsibilities  

1. Define and own the end-to-end automation strategy for an Android-based Instrument Cluster (AOSP/Android Automotive).
2. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, Android system services, boot flows, OTA validation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
3. Automate system validation for boot performance, crashes, ANRs, memory usage, CPU/GPU performance, thermal behavior, and application launch times.
4. Validate power consumption, UI responsiveness, frame rates, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and network recovery scenarios.
5. Develop automated validation for CAN signals, ECU interactions, vehicle state transitions, and safety-critical display behavior.
6. Automate OTA testing, including A/B updates, rollback, recovery, and post-update stability.
7. Convert field issues into regression automation suites and support root cause analysis using logs and system traces.
8. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deliver actionable test reports with regression tracking.
