Content Lead

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software
• Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad
• Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge
• Remain current on relevant technology trends
• Participate in researching and resolving customer issues
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Proficient in native development with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience building interface components and experiences using Swift UI and WebKit and understanding their limitations
• Knowledge and experience working with the MVVM design pattern
• Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guideline
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with security best practices for software development

• Partner with the recruiting team to attract and retain high-quality and diverse talent
• Establish great rapport with other development teams, Product Managers, Sales, and Customer Success to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration
• Ensure teams have appropriate technical direction, leadership, and balance between short-term impact and long-term architectural vision.
• Occasionally contributing to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain an understanding of the deeply technical product as well as to keep your technical acumen sharp

You'll need:

• BS/MS degree in CS-or- a related field with 5+ years of engineering management experience leading productive, high-functioning teams
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Ability to hire while ensuring a high hiring bar, keep engineers motivated, coach/mentor, and handle performance management
• Experience running production services in Public Clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience with running large stateful data systems in the Cloud
• Prior knowledge of Cloud architecture and implementation features (multi-tenancy, containerization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
• A great track record of shipping features and hitting deadlines consistently; should be able to move fast, build in increments and iterate; have a sense of urgency, aggressive mindset towards achieving results and excellent prioritization skills; able to anticipate future technical needs for the product and craft plans to realize them
• Ability to influence the team, peers, and upper management using effective communication and collaborative techniques; focused on building and maintaining a culture of collaboration within the team

• Experience as a full stack developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages is good to have (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, C#, J2EE, Web Services) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications and familiarity with common stacks.
• Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems (SQL or NoSQL, e.g. MongoDB/Cassandra/MySQL).
• Superb communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate business use cases into good taxonomy design.
• Demonstrable skills in understanding importance of data design.

Responsibilities

Work with dev teams and manage projects.

Plan with security and data protection as a foreword thought.

Build real-time and near real-time web applications with video/audio streaming.

Provide budgets and cost estimations for projects and server/service costs.

Design and develop client and server-side architectures.

Build front-end apps on React, Vue. You should be an expert at React.

Develop and manage database

Plan and write APIs

Test software to ensure responsive and efficiency

Write technical documentation

Requirement

5+ years experience

Front-end - React, Vue, Angular ( Expert in React and Angular)

Backend - Go-lang, Python, nodeJS, ( Must have working knowledge of atleast any of the two

programming languages)Framework: Django, Express JS

Misc - Linux, AWS, Deployment, Docker( Mandatory)
