GeM Tender Executive – Defense & Aerospace

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage complete GeM tender lifecycle from bid identification to submission and post-submission activities.

● Handle Direct Purchase, L1 procurement, Reverse Auctions and bid tracking.

● Monitor GeM, CPPP and defense procurement portals for opportunities.

● Prepare technical and commercial proposals, EMD/PBG documentation and compliance sheets.

● Manage OEM authorizations, defense clearance documents and technical catalogs.

● Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance and leadership teams.

● Ensure compliance with Ministry of Defence guidelines, DRDO requirements and procurement standards.

● Maintain product catalogs, specifications, certifications and pricing on GeM.

● Track submission deadlines and maintain bid pipeline reports.

● Coordinate with government authorities and customers for clarifications and documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Graduate degree in Engineering, Management or relevant discipline.

● 2–6 years hands-on experience with GeM portal and government tender management.

● Experience with CPPP and e-procurement platforms.

● Knowledge of defense procurement procedures and OEM authorization process.

● Strong MS Excel and documentation skills.

● Strong communication and stakeholder management capability

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly adaptable Technical Project Manager to take ownership of technical delivery, resource management, and client communication. This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience in development, coupled with management expertise to lead teams and deliver projects. Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Java, REST APIs, GraphQL, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD, and AWS is preferred. You will be responsible for code reviews, deployments, and overall project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership & Code Reviews:

• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in quality, security, and performance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Expertise in PHP, Laravel, Java, REST APIs, GraphQL, ReactJS, Node.js, and databases such as MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.

1. Project Delivery & Deployments:

• Take full ownership of project delivery, from planning to deployment and post-launch support.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes on AWS.
• Ensure timely and quality project completion.

1. AWS Management:

• Manage AWS environments, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure and server configurations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6-10 years of experience in IT development, with expertise in PHP, Laravel, Java, REST APIs, GraphQL, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS management, and deployments.
• At least 2 years of experience in team and client management.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a small company environment, showing adaptability and flexibility.

• Build Products for Factories that help them in improving their Customer Retention on the Platform
• Drive the Customer Retention Metric both at a Platform and at the Factory Level
• Improve Product Discovery on the Retailer App to enhance new retailer Acquisitions for factories
• Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for the growth of Factory
• Distribution product, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
• Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
• Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
• Implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
• Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans

• Engineering or an MBA graduate from a reputed university
• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with consumer and/or b2b startups that have attained scale
• Experience identifying business opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing deliver against a multi-year roadmap
• Understands core technologies utilised in their product domain and is fluent in pros and cons of technical alternatives
• Good understanding of acquisition and retention funnels
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a fast paced and an unstructured environment. Thrives in ambiguity and rapidly changing environment
• Hands-on experience of both qualitative and quantitative research methods such as AB testing, data analytics, and user research

What Will Be My Role & Responsibilities?

Primary responsibilities include:
• Generate B2B sales leads and nurture them, while tracking conversion rates, timelines, cost of leads, etc.
• Be an expert user of tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Hunter, Owler, Zoominfo, Mailchimp, GetProspect, ZeroBounce, Funnelbake, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Intercom, Drift, etc. for company analysis and lead generation
• Use Internet research to develop company & contact lists, curate email databases, CXO lists, etc.
• Measure, track & improve RoI on investments in lead generation initiatives
• Be passionate about using the latest & best marketing automation & lead generation tools

Job Description:

1. At least 3+ years’ experience into web front end/full stack development

1. Proficient in Object Oriented JavaScript programming and working with JS frameworks on both client and server-side

1. In depth knowledge and working experience in full stack development, for example in Node JS and Mongo DB based implementations as a MEAN stack dev

1. Experience implementing applications using Sails.JS, Angular or ExpressJS frameworks

1. Have hands on knowledge in database technologies, preferable NoSQL databases, such as, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

1. Experience with design patterns and building applications from scratch is a plus
2. Thorough understanding and exposure to API integrations, especially RESTful-based web services in JSON
3. Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (bitbucket, Git etc).
