Role Overview

As a Lead Data Scientist / Data Analyst, you’ll combine analytical thinking, business acumen, and technical expertise to design and deliver impactful data-driven solutions. You’ll lead analytical problem-solving for retail clients — from data exploration and visualisation to predictive modelling and actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects — from hypothesis framing and data wrangling to insight delivery and model implementation.
• Drive exploratory data analysis (EDA), identify patterns/trends, and derive meaningful business stories from data.
• Design and implement statistical and machine learning models (e.g., segmentation, propensity, CLTV, price/promo optimisation).
• Build and automate dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reports for ongoing business monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to deploy solutions in production environments.
• Present complex analyses in a clear, business-oriented way, influencing decision-making across retail categories.
• Promote an agile, experiment-driven approach to analytics delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or consulting (preferably in the retail domain)
• Proven ability to connect business questions to analytical solutions and communicate insights effectively
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying large datasets
• Advanced Python for statistical analysis, machine learning, and data processing
• Intermediate PySpark / Databricks skills for working with big data
• Comfortable with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Knowledge of statistical techniques (Hypothesis testing, ANOVA, regression, A/B testing, etc.)
• Familiarity with agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)

Good to Have

• Experience designing data pipelines or analytical workflows in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs (sales, margin, penetration, conversion, ATV, UPT, etc.)
• Prior exposure to Promotion or Pricing analytics 
• Dashboard development or reporting automation expertise

Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

• Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to source qualified candidates.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Employ recruitment marketing strategies to enhance employer branding.

Candidate Evaluation and Selection:

• Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.
• Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews.
• Evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Perform reference checks and background checks.
• Manage the interview process and provide timely feedback to candidates.

Role - Python Developer

Experience 3+ Years

Work Location – Gurugram (Haryana)

Responsibilities

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Developing RESTful APIs
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions ( Postgresql,Mysql )
• Design, develop, and maintain web scraping scripts using Python.
• Use web scraping libraries like Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Selenium and other scraping tools to extract data from websites.

Skills And Qualifications

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, Fast API)
• Familiarity with some ORM libraries -SQL Alchemy /Tortoise
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Good understanding of REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
• Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools ( Git )
• Familiarity with real-time databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL )
• Must have worked in the field for at least 3+ years.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field from a good Institute (Tier-1, Tier -2 Colleges)
• Experience with Python development and web scraping techniques.

CTC: As per Industry Standards.

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on rails framework.
• Strong Knowledge of coding languages, like PERL, Python and Ruby.
• Good knowledge of Relation and NoSQL databases. like MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL etc.
• Knowledge of Microservices development and AWS concept will be an added advantage.
• Ready to adopt new technologies and implement them in project.

You will work with our team and end clients to ensure that the customer requirements are implemented on-time and on-budget. You will coordinate with the rest of the CRM-solutions team to handle sales engineering, support, and technology transformation initiatives.
