Job Title: Optimization Scientist – Route & Inventory Optimization (OR & RL)

Internship Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated AI/ML Intern to support the development of intelligent optimization systems for route planning and inventory allocation. You will work alongside experienced scientists and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in applying machine learning, reinforcement learning, and operations research to real-world logistics challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Assist in Route Optimization Projects:

• Support in modeling and solving simplified versions of Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) under guidance.
• Work with Python libraries like Pyomo or OR-Tools to prototype optimization solutions.
• Explore reinforcement learning methods (e.g., DQN, PPO) for dynamic routing decisions under uncertainty.

🔹 Support Inventory Optimization Efforts:

• Learn to model multi-echelon inventory systems using basic OR and simulation techniques.
• Analyze historical data to understand stock levels, service times, and demand variability.
• Help design experiments to evaluate replenishment strategies and stocking policies.

🔹 Contribute to AI-Driven Decision Systems:

• Assist in integrating ML forecasting models with optimization pipelines.
• Participate in the development or testing of simulation environments for training RL agents.
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate model performance using historical or synthetic datasets.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Good understanding of Python and key libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with basic optimization concepts (LP/MILP) and libraries like OR-Tools or Gurobi (student license).
• Basic knowledge of reinforcement learning frameworks (OpenAI Gym, Stable-Baselines3) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn advanced AI/OR techniques.

Designation- Content Creator

Location- Pondicherry

Responsibilities

Create Photo and Video content for Hidesign, The Promenade & Le Dupleix hotels, Storytellers’ Bar, Le Pondichery & Casablanca.

Creating content will require

Research and planning for the shoots

Shoot Videos and Photos on the planned date, in coordination with the different teams within the company and sourcing products & models if required.

Edit and colour grade the Videos and photos using phone apps as well as softwares such as Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Lightroom.

This content will be used for Social media posts & reels, instore videos, website banners etc

The Content creator will understand reel & post engagement, and continuously improve on various content buckets like – trending reels / educational / entertainment / asmr etc.

Work with a time bound structure for all projects and cater to the requirements of external stakeholders.

Requirements

Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Word, Excel, Power point.

Technical knowledge of editing & colour grading videos and photos.

Attitude: Assertive, efficient, good organization and people skills and result-oriented.

Role Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Data Engineering team supporting an event-driven server less data engineering pipeline on AWS cloud, responsible for assisting in the end-to-end analysis, development & maintenance of data pipelines and systems (DataOps). You will work closely with fellow data engineers & production support to ensure the availability and reliability of data for analytics and business intelligence purposes.

Requirements:

·      Around 4 years of working experience in data warehousing / BI system.

·      Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake AND strong programming skills in Python

·      Strong hands-on SQL skills

·      Knowledge with any of the cloud databases such as Snowflake,Redshift,Google BigQuery,RDS,etc.

·      Knowledge on debt for cloud databases

·      AWS Services such as SNS, SQS, ECS, Docker, Kinesis & Lambda functions

·      Solid understanding of ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts

·      Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/bit bucket, etc.) and collaborative development practices in an agile framework

·      Experience with scrum methodologies

·      Infrastructure build tools such as CFT / Terraform is a plus.

·      Knowledge on Denodo, data cataloguing tools & data quality mechanisms is a plus.

·      Strong team player with good communication skills.
