Come join us. ## Front End User Interface Designer Job Description We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and copywriters. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. Responsibilities Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers. Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods. Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.) Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards. Requirements Min 2 years’ experience in a design related position in organization with experience to include 3+ years hands-on experience HTML5 and CSS3 You have incredible design talent and you can write code too. We want someone who can help build what they design. Willingness to explore alternative web design and build prototypes to validate ideas and help iterate concepts You believe that good design is about much more than just 1px bevels and subtle gradients. It's all about problem solving. You have an impressive portfolio of projects that you've worked on from mock-ups to real, customer-facing web-applications. You must have a solid understanding of layout, typography and storytelling techniques, and a smart UX sensibility You're an expert when it comes to HTML and CSS and have considerable experience with JavaScript/jQuery. Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, Marvelapp Designed and coded a new product prototype using a whiteboard, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience in building websites with web design frameworks such as Bootstrap Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Experience in LESS, SASS or SCSS is a plus.
