Hey future colleague! 

We're Codebuddy. We are a product engineering services company based out of Kolkata, with an office in Pune. We work with clients from different industries on a daily basis, and so far, we have worked with 120+ clients in the span of just 5 years. 

Our team’s average age is 26 years. So, you get an idea of how young and energetic our team is, full of life and enthusiasm.

If you choose to join us, you’d be working in our team of 4 design ninjas. Our designs have helped startups to get acquired, even get through to Y-Combinator. So, you can clearly see the impact that our designs create.

What's the role?

01 You’ll get crude requirements and you translate those documents into understandable user journeys and wireframes, without breaking a sweat.

02 You craft mind-boggling user interfaces that would make even Picasso jealous.

03 You create beautiful lottie animations based on the project's needs.

04 You hand off your designs to the developers perfectly and make sure they don’t hate you.

05 You occasionally conduct user interviews and testing, because we build the products for them.

Requirements

Personality:

01:- Strong communication skills, because we appreciate a good joke, but we also need you to explain why you chose Comic Sans.

02:- We would like you to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. We expect you to be Atma-nirbhar.

03:- We expect you to have the ability to charm the client, make the logo bigger, and even make the design a rainbow upon request.

04:- A can-do attitude, with attention to detail and a sense of humor. We like our candidates to be funny and sharp!

Technical:

01:- We know that you are going to apply anyway. But, we prefer 2+ years of UI/UX design experience.

02:- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and Adobe CC Suite. Also, if you don’t use autolayout, this is where you close this tab.

03:- A portfolio that makes us say, "So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!"

04:- Experience with micro-interactions (preferably Lottie) would be just perfect 🤌🏼

The Engineering Challenge

“Re-imaging credit and payments from First Principles”

Payments is an interesting engineering challenge in itself with requirements of low latency, transactional guarantees, security, and high scalability. When we add credit and engagement into the mix, the challenge becomes even more interesting with underwriting and recommendation algorithms working on large data sets. We have eliminated the current call center, sales agent, and SMS-based processes with a mobile app that puts the customers in complete control. To stay agile, the entire stack is built on the cloud with modern technologies.

Purpose of Role :

- Develop and implement the collection analytics and strategy function for the credit cards. Use analysis and customer insights to develop optimum strategy.

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

- Successful candidates will have in-depth knowledge of statistical modelling/data analysis tools (Python, R etc.), techniques. They will be an adept communicator with good interpersonal skills to work with senior stake holders in India to grow revenue primarily through identifying / delivering / creating new, profitable analytics solutions.

We are looking for someone who:

- Proven track record in collection and risk analytics preferably in Indian BFSI industry. This is a must.

- Identify & deliver appropriate analytics solutions

- Experienced in Analytics team management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for delivering high quality analytical and value added services

- Responsible for automating insights and proactive actions on them to mitigate collection Risk.

- Work closely with the internal team members to deliver the solution

- Engage Business/Technical Consultants and delivery teams appropriately so that there is a shared understanding and agreement as to deliver proposed solution

- Use analysis and customer insights to develop value propositions for customers

- Maintain and enhance the suite of suitable analytics products.

- Actively seek to share knowledge within the team

- Share findings with peers from other teams and management where required

- Actively contribute to setting best practice processes.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications :

Knowledge :

- Good understanding of collection analytics preferably in Retail lending industry.

- Knowledge of statistical modelling/data analysis tools (Python, R etc.), techniques and market trends

- Knowledge of different modelling frameworks like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Multiple Regression, LOGIT, PROBIT, time- series modelling, CHAID, CART etc.

- Knowledge of Machine learning & AI algorithms such as Gradient Boost, KNN, etc.

- Understanding of decisioning and portfolio management in banking and financial services would be added advantage

- Understanding of credit bureau would be an added advantage

Experience :

- 4 to 8 years of work experience in core analytics function of a large bank / consulting firm.

- Experience on working on Collection analytics is must

- Experience on handling large data volumes using data analysis tools and generating good data insights

- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences

- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills Strong interpersonal skills

- Motivated to meet and exceed stretch targets

- Ability to make the right judgments in the face of complexity and uncertainty

- Excellent relationship and networking skills across our different business and geographies

Qualifications :

- Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Management or Engineering from a reputed college

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and build application for iOS platforms
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
• Responsible for working on iOS frameworks, Xcode, Swift, Rxswift, Xcode SDK Platform tools
• Responsible to work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

-Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax

-Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms

-Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms

-Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native

-Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming

-Strong knowledge and experience in either iOS or Android native application development

-Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio

• You would be responsible for Developing SQL Databases, automation of business reports and Developing Business Dashboard using BI Tools.
• Development of high quality database solutions 
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.  
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.

Requirement / Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of business Analyst / SQL developer experience in Fintech,internet,consulting etc industry
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript 
• SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
• Knowledge of any of the BI Tool (Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview)

Requirements:

• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application in the web/win platform.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
• Hands-on experience in ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Hands-on experience of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET).
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
