Job Description As a Java Developer, you will be part of our multi-talented team of engineers and will be responsible for: • Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance. • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle while writing well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. • Prepare and produce releases of software components. • Support continuous improvement by investigating, alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review experience in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, Restful Web Services and design patterns Primary/Technical skills: • Core Java, J2EE, OOPS design, Restful Web Services, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery. • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Eclipse/STS. • Knowledge of various Design Patterns and their practical application. • Cloud Azure, Maven, Github (Version controlling), • Sound knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL/Postgres/Oracle, including schema design. • Comfortable with advanced SQL queries and SQL Tuning. • Proficient in general programming, logic, problem solving, data structures, algorithms. • Good understanding of data structures & algorithms and their space & time complexities.

• Expertise in building AWS Data Engineering pipelines with AWS Glue -> Athena -> Quick sight
• Experience in developing lambda functions with AWS Lambda
• Expertise with Spark/PySpark – Candidate should be hands on with PySpark code and should be able to do transformations with Spark
• Should be able to code in Python and Scala.
• Snowflake experience will be a plus
• We can start keeping Hadoop and Hive requirements as good to have or understanding of is enough rather than keeping it as a desirable requirement.

What you will do:

• Leading the dev team for Floor.bz (virtual Event SAAS Platform Team)
• Planning, estimation, database designing, wireframing, layout designing of assigned project and other ongoing projects in team with Product Manager
• Handling coding works or major/ complex parts of assigned projects and providing coding help and supervision to team members
• Maintaining and auditing code/ design quality as per set guidelines and standards in assigned projects
• Testing of completed tasks in ongoing projects in team before sending updates to reporting authority/client
• Removing the technical impediments
• Focusing the team to ensure an on-time delivery of the agreed task
• Reporting progress to the Product Manager
• Facilitating code/ design reuse
• Training and mentoring of team members
• Maintaining skill set matrix of the team

 

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

• 3+ Years development skills in UI /UX Frontend / Backend Knowledge
• Expertise in JS/ React Js/ Api’s
• Excellent programming and logical skills
• Knowledge on Angular Js/ Vue Js
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL
• Excellent knowledge of Javascript, Jquery
• Excellent knowledge of OOP programming style and Event Driven Architecture
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT is also required

Requirements:
 2-8 years of professional experience in responsive Web Application development.

 Hands on experience in HTML5 CSS3 AngularJs, JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 & 6), Jquery,
Struts/Spring, Linux.
 Proficiency in the design and development of responsive Web Applications.
 Strong CS fundamentals in Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithm Design,
Problem Solving, and Complexity Analysis.
 Expertise in implementing highly interactive, multi-layered Web Applications.
 Expertise in JSON & working with Web Services.
 Ability to work on a given product/module in its entirety.

 Basic knowledge in working with databases.
 Good experience in working with server-side template rendering engines.

Some Roles/Responsibilities

● Designing, implementing and deploying updates, features to the company’s cloud

backend system. The work typically requires writing RESTful APIs.

● Derive key metrics from the system to estimate system health and performance.

● Prepare automated test suites for continuous health monitoring of the backend
