Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Professional with 5–10 years of experience specializing in Pega Testing. In this role, you will design, execute, and manage testing strategies for complex, large-scale enterprise applications built on the Pegaplatform. You will ensure the seamless performance, integration, and functionality of workflows and case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Define, design, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases specifically tailored for Pega BPM applications.

• Functional & Rule Validation: Validate Pega rulesets, case management flows, data pages, routing logic, declarative expressions, and access groups.

• Automation Leadership: Design and maintain automated test frameworks for PegaUI and API layers using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Tosca, or Pega Autotest.

• Defect & Defect Triaging: Track, analyze, and report defects using Jira, collaborating closely with Pega developers and Business Analysts to resolve complex issues.

• Regression & Integration Testing: Execute rigorous regression testing for Pegaplatform upgrades and test end-to-end integration with third-party APIs and databases.

• Mentorship & Quality Control: Lead a team of QA engineers, conduct test case reviews, and enforce industry-standard QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pega Expertise: 4+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in testing Pega PRPC applications (Pega 8.x experience preferred).

• Certifications: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA), Certified System Architect (CSA), or Certified Pega QA is highly desirable.

• Testing Automation: Proven experience using automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Tosca, Cucumber, or SoapUI/Postman for API testing) within a Pegaecosystem.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements and user stories into structured test scenarios.

• 4-8 years of experience in Functional testing with good foundation in technical expertise
• Experience in the Capital Markets domain is MUST
• Exposure to API testing tools like SoapUI and Postman
• Well versed with SQL
• Hands on experience in debugging issues using Unix commands
• Basic understanding of XML and JSON structures
• Knowledge of FitNesse is good to have
• Should be early joinee.

3-6 years of experience in Functional testing with good foundation in technical expertise.

Experience in Capital Markets domain is MUST.

Exposure to API testing tools like SoapUI and Postman.

Well versed with SQL

Hands on experience in debugging issues using Unix commands.

Basic understanding of XML and JSON structures

Knowledge of Finesse is good to have

Role / Purpose - Lead Developer - API and Microservices

Must have a strong hands-on development track record building integration utilizing a variety of integration products, tools, protocols, technologies, and patterns.

• Must have an in-depth understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, SOA Governance, Event-Driven Architecture, message-based architectures, file sharing, and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, J2EE design patterns, frameworks
• Should possess experience with at least one of middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), Programming languages (e.g. Java/J2EE, JavaScript, COBOL, C), Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, MVS), and Databases (DB2, MySQL, No SQL Databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.)
• Must have experience implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market-leading API Management tools such as Apigee and frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices
• Should have Advanced skills in implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market-leading API Management tools such as Apigee or similar frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices 
• Appetite to manage large-scale projects and multiple tracks
•  Experience and knowhow of the e-commerce domain and retail experience are preferred
•  Good communication & people managerial skills
