TEAM LEAD PLATFORM ENGINEERING (F/M)
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Team Lead Platform Engineering is responsible for leading a team of (platform) engineers and Architects in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that support scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms. This role ensures the reliability and performance of core systems while driving innovation and operational excellence across the platform landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leading and mentoring a team of platform engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
•Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of platform infrastructure (cloud, on-premises, hybrid).
•Driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across platform operations.
•Collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to ensure platform alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Managing platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
•Ensuring compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.

Academic background & Experience

•10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or system administration roles.
• Proven experience in a leadership or team lead capacity.
•Profound hands-on experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform).
•Experience managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
•Track record of implementing automation and supporting production systems.
